It's the opening of the school year and Camila now is a sophomore. She's very excited to see again her best friend Austin, they hadn't seen one another for the past 2 months because he visited his grandparents in California. Camila wonders if what he looks like now, they both decided to not send a picture to each other for the whole summer. Camila hadn't change much in the past 2 months, she's still skinny and smaller than the rest of her batch mates. She still wears her glasses and she's still shy to meet new people.

Camila loves being alone at times, she loves reading too much and being attached to the characters of the stories. She spends a lot of time reading and that she didn't have any social interactions. She didn't mind it, at all, she's contented on having Austin as her only friend.

Camila packed her bag with a few notebooks and her lunch. She glance for the last time at the mirror to look at herself. Upon seeing her reflection, she smiled and head off downstairs. She ate cereal and banana for breakfast and said goodbye to her parents. She was walking when a group of teens in a car honked at her. She jump a little in surprised and looked at them curiously.

"Skinny! Why are you walking?!" one boy said mockingly and they all laughed. Camila ignore them and continue to walk with her head low.

"Hey! Dumbo! I'm talking to you!" he repeated but Camila chose to ignore.

He threw a roll of tissue at Camila and Camila looked at him quickly. She was frowning at he smiled.

"Now I got your attention..." he said laughing. "You shouldn't walk, do you know that?" he asked and Camila shake her head no. "Why?" she responded.

"There might be nothing left in your body!" he said as he laugh hard.

Camila didn't said anything she just walk again, this time the boy went out of his car together with his friends and surrounded Camila. The boy lift her up easily and held her by the waist. The boy carried her above his shoulder and Camila was lying in her stomach onto his shoulder. Camila tried to kick him but he was just stronger.

"Put me down!" Camila yelled and he just laugh.

"As you said!" he said as he dump Camila in the trash can beside the road. They all laugh at Camila as they walk back to their car. Camila was left alone as her body struggle to pull herself up. She got stuck on the trash can. Her feet was outside the trash can while she sat on the bottom. Her hands flailing over her head and only her eyes and up to her head were above the opening of the bin.

She sighed, how she could forget that she was the prey to all of the students.

"Here..." someone held a hand for Camila to take.

Camila looked up and she saw a teenage girl with jet black hair and a pale complexion. Her eyes is bright green that looked like shimmering when it's been hit by the light. And she smiled genuinely.

Camila hold onto the hand and she was pulled out easily. Camila almost tripped on her feet as she gather herself up. She looked at the girl who seemed very happy.

"Thanks..." Camila said shyly as she fixed her glasses.

"No need to thanked me." She responded.

"But you help me, so I need to say thank you."

The girl seemed to think as she put her lips together and cocked her head, looking slightly upwards.

"Okay... your welcome." she responded with a nod.

Camila smiled. "I think I need to get going." She excused herself.

"Camila..." the other girl called and Camila got confused as to why the other girl knew her name. She's positive that it is their first time meeting each other.
