"Okay.. Here she is!" The doctor yelled. Then I heard my baby girls wails through the delivery room.
The doctors cleaned her up and handed her to my girlfriend Sarah. "Do we have a name?" The nurse asked.
"No." We both said. "Okay well there isn't enough time to rest." The doctor said "What why not?" Sarah asked.
"The second baby is on its way." He said calmly. I swear I saw Sarah's eyes pop out of her head.
"THE SECOND WHAT?!" She yelled, oh yes she was livid.
I took the baby away from her and gave her back to the nurse.
"Yes did you not know?" The doc seemed confused.
"NO I WAS ONLY TOLD ONE PERSON WOULD BE POPPING THROUGH MY LEGS! NOT TWO, THERE MUST BE SOME TYPE OF-"
"AHHH SHIT" she was cut off by her own contractions. No less than 10 minutes later a boy popped out. We all cooed over them and the nurses soon left. "Okay well I gotta get to work." My mother said. She was a nurse for a different hospital and it was around 9 in the night.
"Bye ma," I said kissing her cheek.
Soon Sarah handed me the babies. I'm a 17 year old senior, father of two. No this wasn't planned.
But life goes on.
