Chapter 12: Recruitment

I just really want to apologize to everyone who may have been waiting for an update in forever. Before, I had some really bad things come up involving a friend that started talking behind my back, but after a while I decided to drop the whole thing and move on, although I did stop being that girl's friend. And after that, I had a really bad case of writer's block. And I was just really upset. And then I decided to rewatch Attack on Titan and catch up on the manga(which was a bad idea... I'm not gonna spoil it for the ones who haven't read chapter 82..) Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter and forgive me. I've been a lousy writer, but I appreciate everyone who takes time to read such nonsense as the things I write.

Will and everyone who had ran with him, all crashed into the supplying tower. Windows shattering as they rolled through, gaining quite a lot of scratches and glass splinters.

"Gah! Should've thought better than just bustin' in." Will groaned as he took out a large piece of glass that had embedded itself into his left hand.

"Will, you did great. You saved us." Toby said, shaking some of the debris in his hair out. "Why is it so quiet?"

"It's because these wusses were just staying up here, doing nothing!" someone with a very known temper shouted as he dragged up a boy that was cowering under a desk. Will saw two girl in there. That's when he noticed how in all the five desks, three people were crammed in as if their lives depended on hiding.

"Let 'em go, Oliver! It's not their fault. The Titans swarmed this place." Logan yelled at him.

"They've been trained for this! We've all trained for this shit, and yet, they couldn't even hold out for the first twenty minutes. Even Rachel would've been disappointed in them!"

"And look where that got her! She's dead!" Will shouted at them him. "Rachel was a great solider, but she acted nothing like a solider."

"She died trying to save her best friend! That seems pretty heroic to me!" Ethan yelled, not liking how Will had just shamed her name.

"She could've thought more about the rest of humanity than just for Erik! She's the strongest person  ever known, besides the captain of the FF's, to ever live. She could've kept on fighting. She could've gotten over his death. She could've been  great help to saving humanity from the fucking Titans. She could've thought a bit more selfless." Will shouted, finally snapping. He's been angry, all this time, over Rachel's death. A bit was because he believed that he was in love with her, but at the same time because he was thinking about how great of a help she would've been to save humanity.

Ethan seethed, he and Rachel were getting pretty close as friends, she was always there to help him and he sometimes brought out a smile from her. He remembered the time when Will had bullied him for a day, the next day, Will's bed was sailing in the river, far away from the bank. Ethan had then caught Rachel's smug face and knew that she had done it for him. "But she cared enough to sacrifice her life for someone. For one person. If it was you in Erik's position, I'm sure she would've done the same. Even if she hated your guts, she would've saved you, because she hates seeing people she can save die. So you don't get to say how Rachel was, because you didn't even know her!" He shouted at Will, his smile was gone and there was no hint of his usual happy expression.

Will's face dropped and he was about to go over and beat the hell out of Ethan when Toby stopped him, "Stop. We should worry more about those things than-"

Suddenly, debris and chunks of the building went flying as a Titan's hand crashed through.

"There's too many people in here! They sensed us!" Liam warned them.
