"Eaglepaw, Hawkpaw, step forward."
The two young she-cats stepped forward, eyes sparkling with determination as their leader rested a soft gaze at them.
"The two of you have trained hard together, much to the clan's approval."
Murmurs of the clan rose, supporting what their leader said.
"And from this day forward, I give you your warrior names."
"Eaglepaw, Hawkpaw, do you two promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect your clan, even at the cost of your very own lives?"
"I do." The two sisters said at once.
"Then, by the power of Starclan, Eaglepaw, from this day forward, you shall be known as Eaglesprint for how you seem to glide over our floors. Shadowclan welcomes you as a full warrior."
The Shadowclan leader rested his muzzle on Eaglesprint's shoulder as she gave his shoulder a lick, Hawkpaw looking at her sister with pride.
"Hawkpaw." The leader began, turning to the other sister as she caught herself glaring at him.
"Do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect the clan? Even at the cost of your own life?" The leader repeated.
"I..do.." Hawkpaw muttered over a growl of annoyance that grew in her belly.
The leader seemed to pay no notice. "Then from this day forward, you shall be known as Hawkbelly, for how much you hunger to protect your clan. Shadowclan welcomes you as a full warrior."
"Eaglesprint! Hawkbelly! Eaglesprint! Hawkbelly!" The clan yowled their new warriors welcome with glee as the two let the sounds of their new names be soaked into pride.
