"Hey! Watch it nerd!" Jada says as she shoves past me in the hallway.

"Great. Another year, another reason to hate school!" I mumble under my breath as I crack open the doors of Lincoln high, and step inside to deliver that all summer has brought is a musty scent of mold and cleaning supplies.

I glance at the paper in my hand to confirm the locker number I read was locker number 247.

I turn down a large hallway, filled with the faces of hopeful, innocent, freshman. I long for the days when highschool was nothing but a near hope for me
But these aren't my people.
I turn right to see a hall filled with vaguely familiar kids I might have known in 8th grade. I see a clump of girls, all huddled around their phones, and quickly turn away, nervous that one of the girls might see me.

I quicken my pace, and high tail it all if the way through the Junior Hallway.

"Finally!" I peep to my self, turn I g the final corner, and seeing the faces of my classmates make themselves visible.

"Felicity!" I say, running toward my best friend.

"Em! What's up!" She says hugging me briefly. My names actually emma, but I've been given the permanent nickname ever since I was 5.

"How was your summer? Why haven't I heard from you!" I ask.

"I told you, I went to the Hampton's with my step dad! Hey, I offered you to come." She says while laughing.

"OK, well I have to find my locker. I'll catch up with you at lunch!" I say, waving bye to my friends.
I walk all the way to the end of the hall, right by the lunch room doors. There I find locker number 247.

"Come on! Open up!" I say to my self, jiggling the handle on my locker.

"Do you need help?" I hear a feminine voice from behind me ask.

"Uhh, yea I-" I stop in my tracks as I turn around to see a beautiful girl with dark brown curls and gorgeous brown eyes amidst me.

"I'm new
