Imagine your world, perfect finally just for a moment. With the help of some alcohol you finally feel free, yourself, and no one is holding you back. The wind rushes through your hair exlirating you, making you only want to go faster.
Your impulsive, and when you see that red light it means a challenge with the rules that kept you so far from being this "free".
And when your going this fast no one can catch up but time itself. Well, it wasn't my time, but I sure wish it was. In the movies they show these things in slow motion, so epic and dramatic, but in reality it goes by so fast. The real slow motion part is afterwards.
When you looked at the person that caught up with you or that time let them catch up with you. It's when you get out and and stumble to the ground trying to catch you breath just to see people with blue clothes put you on a moving bed and roll you away from the horrible scene you created.
Well, I'm guessing your lost right now cause, one I really doubt that ever happened to you and two it can be really hard to follow a drunk person's decription of a dilemma that happened to her. But let me just give you this: I was never the same after that. When your 16 its kind of hard not to get into your first car and give yourslef a few joy rides.
No this was not my first time driving when that happened but it was myfirst time drinking. I never thought I would do that ever. jI am personally still shocked at myslef. But in my defense things haven't exactly gone my way. If anything they juked me in the other direction.
Even though I am called smart at school I have my probllems like any other struggling junior but I got my first failing grade...ever. My first serious boyfriend just broke up with me if that helps at all, which according to common sense does not! Finally, I was threatened to be kicked out of my own house. Well, techincally not my house but my parent's house because they pay for everything but that is not the point.
I guess everything was going down hill for me and I could not handle it. Life came pertty easy for me before and even though it seems selfish everything was handed to me and I expected them too.
After my bad day I went to the nieghborhood crack house also known as Josh's house, (just another "bad boy" from school) drank like 8 cans of beer and even made out with the guy here and there. But I blame that on alcohol and the break up with my bitchy ex-boyfriend.
So by then it was like midnight or so I thought it was, I couldn't really read at that moment. I think he offered to drive me but I rejected of course. My ego was going insane though and I was already at 70 mph by the time I hit block number two. To get from the crack house to my nieghborhood you have to pass a highway.
Stupid me didn't stop for anything and...yeah I think I told you this part already. My point is though I wasn't myself that night and that is why I ditched the trial knowing they would come after me. Now this may seem impossible, and I have had my doubts, but I have one advantage: The Devil.
