High School|1|

I wake up on a Monday morning to the blaring noise from my phone telling me to wake up. I look up and see that Angie is calling me.
I get on the phone "one sec" she said "are y'all ready" as I think to myself who is y'all. As I hear all of my friends voices going down the line.
"Yep" said Aurora "Mhm" said Aryssa "Well I am, what about you Katie?" said Angie "No" "Why not?" "Because it's our first day in high school, and I don't know if y'all forgot but our school is mixing with Bonham!". "Are you scared?" "Are you afraid?" "I don't know but I need to get ready, see y'all in a few." "See you later" they all said in unison.
I grabbed the outfit I laid out the night before for the first day in high school. A maroon dress ,black boots, a little makeup, and a necklace Angie gave to me{chapter pic}. And ran out the door, with my mom, to the car and drove to school.
When I get to school I automatically see all the girls standing in a tiny group. I jump out of the car say bye to my mom and go give them all a group hug.
As we walk in there are a bunch of new people I have never seen before. I leave my girls to go to my locker, C91, I open my locker no problem then looked inside, it was empty.
All of a sudden I hear Aryssa yell my name, I swung my head back and all I see if black and all I feel is pain in my left eye and the floor underneath my back. As I hear a boy scream "Someone get the nurse!".
I wake up to Aryssa, a tall lady, and a boy standing over me. "She's going to be alright, right?" "Yes she will fine her eye will just be a little red, and she may have a huge migraine." I hear Aryssa and the lady have a conversation.
"She's awake" the random boy said. "What happened" I said "Mr. Rowland over here accidentally hit you in the head with his locker door" said the lady which I was guessing was the nurse "Yeah I'm really sorry about that" the boy said.
"Who is Mr. Rowland?" I said questionably "that would be me" the boy said "my name is Hunter Rowland and you are..?" "She's totally available" said Aryssa "haha I'm Katie Gowan."
"I'm so sorry for hitting you with a locker" Hunter said
"it's alright" I said
"Is there anyway I can make it up to you?"
"I mean your number would be nice" I said as covering my mouth because I didn't mean to say that.
"Okay" as he took a pen out of his pocket and a piece of paper out of his binder he wrote a local number on it then gave the piece of paper.
"OMG I didn't expect you to actually do it"
"Well keep it text me anytime" he said as we walked to home room.
