One of Them...

I ran down the stairs to the living room , thats when it happened. I fell i to the floor, when i looked up i noticed that there was no way out. i was stuck there forever,alone in the dark, caged, for a long time. It has been four years since i have seen the beautiful sunlight. there was always that one day during those four years of sorrow. The day when i saw it, the desk red eyes of my keeper, the one who was behind it all. I looked at him in fury and hatred as i said "Please let me out, i want to see the sun again. I want to feel the grass between my toes once more!" He didn't say anything, he never says anything. Another year went by and he finally came to me and said "I think its time to bring you out." My heart filled with happiness as i said "YES! thank you so much! I will never forget this." he opened the cage door and i ran out so fast expecting to see trees, flowers, grass, and all. But nothing happened. I was still trapped in my own sadness and depression. That's when I felt the sharp pain of claws dragging across my face as i screamed in agony! The poison seeping into my skin deeper and deeper. I am being infected of what i thought would never happen. I suddenly felt my body changing and my ears grew pointy, my fingertips were sharp, and my heart slowly fading away. That's even i realized that i had became......One Of Them...
