Chapter Three

Once outside Remy walked over to her family while Chloe went to stand next to her parents and brother while they were being introduced to visiting Alpha's and their families. She kept glancing down at Remy watching her best friend fidgeting. 

Remy POV:

I was looking around trying to find where the scent was coming from. I was getting nudged by my brother to pay attention as father was introducing us to our guest. As he introduced them to the Beta family the smell was getting closer and closer. I mind linked my mother. 

Remy: " Mom I pretty sure my mate is here and very close. Rain is pacing in my head and I keep smelling a very enticing scent that is making me fidget." 

Ivy: " Be patient sweetheart. He may be part of one of the Alpha families we are being introduced to." 

Remy: " I'm trying mom but it is very hard. I want to know but I'm afraid he will reject me since I'm different."

Ivy: "  Don't think that. You are a special and wonderful young lady."

I looked down the line and noticed a very handsome boy with a couple and a younger boy. She heard the father introduce himself as Alpha Chris Douglas and his Luna Carrie. Then he introduced his two sons starting with the youngest Ashton and the oldest and next to be Alpha Logan. I  took a deep breath smelling the scent more closer. Her father smiled and shook the Alpha's hand. 

Alpha Scott: "  Pleased to meet you. This is my family. My Luna Ivy, my oldest son and soon to be Alpha Blade, then Jase, my daughter Remy and our youngest Jaslynn." 

As he introduced the family he pointed to each person.  We smiled at each other and exchanged hellos.The oldest son was standing in front of me and Rain was going crazy.  We looked in each others eyes and each whispered the word mate. We were about to touch when a loud annoying voice rang out. A girl came out of nowhere going up to Logan pressing against his side. 

Girl: " Logan why did you leave me baby?" 

Logan: " Lexie I told you I had to meet the Alpha and his family." 

I watched my mate not bother to move the girl off him. He looked from me to her giving her his attention.  He didnt acknowledge me anymore. I felt rejected without him saying the words. I'm not saying I'm a model but I am prettier then the girl that was pressed against him. She had too much make up on and was trying to hard plus her dress was too short.

I had to get away from them. I mind linked my parents then grabbed Chloe and we went to join the packs and dance. While we were dancing someone came up putting their hands on my hips. The scent wasn't familiar so it must have been someone from another pack. I turn around and there was a cute guy there dancing close. He wasn't as cute as my mate but I was going to go with it. As we were dancing I kept hearing little growls but didn't pay attention to them. He made it seem like he didn't want me and was choosing her over me.
