" LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, we have arrived in seoul south korea! please remain in your seat as– "

the pilot snaps ash out of her daze. she was finally back, after two years, she was back in korea. she waited until almost everyone was out of the plane as she took her bag out of the upper compartment. she hated being rushed to get her thing, makes her all panicked and frantic so she just waits for everyone to get out so she can calmly leave the plane. she takes a deep breath before taking her first step in the airport. she started to walk inside and felt her heart beat faster with every step.

immigration was a breeze, before she knew it she was walking by an old spot. a spot where she painfully said goodbye to what she thought was the love of her life. she shook her head, waving away the old memories as she took another deep breath. she was back for a fresh new start. after she fulfilled her duties to her family, she decided to go back to korea and work again as a pd, she knew it was risky since there is a possibility she could see hoseok but that won't stop her from doing what she loves.

she had a side job while she stayed in the philippines, she worked as an editing videographer. she improved a lot on her video editing as well as directing. she this would be of great help when she comes back and she was right. in a sea of people, she quickly spotted her longtime friend, yuri, who never lost touch with her ever since she left. in a dash, yuri ran to ash and tackled into a bear hug. 

" ash! holy hell, i've missed you! you look so pretty! and thin, have you been eating well? i'm so glad to- " ash managed to let out a laugh before she heard someone saying 

" yuri, let go of her before she runs out of air, she's gonna die and its her first day back. let the woman live! " yuri scoffed before squeezing ash for the last time. yuri shot glares at hyunki while hyunki just winks back. yuri turns to ash and introduces hyunki.

" ash, this is the knuckle head that i was talking to you about. hyunki this ash, a long time friend whom i've introduced to you informally a year ago " hyunki took out his hand and ash galdly shook it.

" nice to finally meet you in person, yuri has told me great things about you "

" likewise, so- " yuri cut off hyunki by shoving ash's luggage on to him. 

" chit chat later, move now. i'm starving! lets go grab food to eat! " yuri said as she wrapped her arms around her friend's. 

" oh no, its okay! i can bring my own luggage " 

" i'm sure you can, but thats why hyunki is here so just relax and let him do the work, isn't that right oppa? " hyunki rolled his eyes at yuri and gave a reassuring smile to ash.

" its no problem! you're luggage isn't that many, plus you should relax, i'm sure you're tired after that flight " ash thanked him before they walked out of the airport and towards their car. ash took out her phone once she got in the car and messaged her roommate and friend, mia, who she spent a lot of time with back in the philippines.

hey mia! i've landed in korea and i'm with yuri. we're on the way to get dinner. missing you already, take care of yourself okay? love you and wishing you could be here!

ash chucked her phone back to her bag as she leaned against the car window, admiring the stars out in the sky. she really is back
