Izumi sits up in her infirmary bed, waking up. Candles are lit; they provide light in the room. She looks around and sees nothing but curtained windows, a metal tray with a roll of bandages on it beside her, and a door across the way. She tries to move her ankle, but she yelps in pain. She uncovered her legs and it is wrapped in gauze and wraps, slightly stained by blood. A knock resounds at the door and the nurse comes in, carrying a tray of food. The tray has bread, soup, and a small piece of fish. After she leaves, Izumi eats her meal in silence.
Another knock sounds at the door. The nurse opens it to reveal that Eren, Jean, Armin, and Mikasa are outside the room. Eren runs to tell Levi. Izumi suddenly relapses and closes her eyes. When she comes to again, she feels the brush of a hand against her cheek and teardrops on it while she lay there. She wakes up and sees Levi looking down to her, eyes full of tears made of grief. He gasps...and holds her close to his chest.

"Oh thank Sina you're alright...don't ever scare me like that again, okay?!" Levi shouts at me, visible tears drying. I hug him gently as his cries echo through the silent room, his breaths racked. Erwin comes in and he suddenly tries to get himself together, trying not to show emotion. His cold barriers go back up and he gives a "tch" before looking to Erwin, eyes puffy and red. I am carried back to my room by Levi and as I fall asleep, he gives me a soft kiss good night.
Since then, I have been riding in a wheelchair, but still able to use 3DMG in the air and land on two feet...mostly. As soon as I land, I have to go back in the wheelchair.

Izumi's Diary: 10th of May, Year 857. Time is 11:50.
It has now been about a month since the Expedition and I am able to walk again. Levi has been VERY overprotective of me around the other men of the Corps, which I can understand, but even around Erwin? This is quite confusing to everyone here. I can see his reasoning, since I nearly DIED out there.
But he does not need to be too clingy to me...ah well, that's Levi for you.
Always so sweet.
