"What are you doing here?" Percy asked his girlfriend softly. They had left the eyes of the public and had gone to sit outside under the bleachers. Beside him, Annabeth smiled a little.

"You didn't send me an Iris Message last night. I thought something had happened to you." Percy could see the worry in her eyes. He tried to reassure her with his own.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't find any drachmas." He paused for a moment as he got lost in his thoughts. "You know, I'm kind of happy that I didn't call you last night," Percy chuckled when he saw the confused and slightly hurt expression on her face. "Because if I had called you then you wouldn't be right here in front of me."

Annabeth blushed slightly as she moved closer towards him. "That's not fair Seaweed Brain. I thought you were in trouble."

Percy couldn't help but laugh loudly that time. "Sorry." He said again. "You don't have to worry about me too much, you know. I can hold my own."

He watched as the girl in front of him rolled her stormy eyes. She didn't respond though, leaving a blissful silence lingering between them.

After a few minutes, they were interrupted by the sound of the bell coming from the school. Percy smiled when he turned to look at the blonde again. "Are you hungry? It's time for lunch."

Annabeth shrugged her shoulders. "Sure." Together, they got up and headed back towards the school.

They re entered the school through the courtyard and walked up the chained-in staircase. As they rounded a corner, Percy stopped at the sight in front of him. Kurt stood a few steps down from Blaine, with a beautiful bouquet of red and yellow flowers hidden behind his back. He watched as Kurt gave his boyfriend the flowers along with a beautiful speech.

It looked as if Blaine wanted to hug Kurt to further say thank you, but at that same moment a group of kids walked past down the stairs, leaving the boys standing awkwardly. Percy wasn't about to let that be the end of it.

"Oh come on! Kiss him already! Don't worry about other people. It doesn't matter what they think." Percy shouted, completely scaring the hell out of the two boys. Blaine was the first to recover, and while Kurt was still calming back down from Percy's surprise appearance, he planted a cute little peck on his lips. "That's more like it." Percy couldn't help but say though his laughter. They both turned to look at him again, and for the first time, noticed Annabeth who stood even farther down the stairs. Happily, Percy motioned the blonde girl closer and started to make introductions. "Annabeth, these are my friends; Kurt and his boyfriend Blaine." He turned to look at the boys in front of him. "Guys, this is my girlfriend Annabeth"

It took a moment for the information to sink in, but when it did both boy's grew huge grins on their faces. Kurt stepped down a few steps to greet her. "It's nice to meet you."

"You too." She responded with a small smile.

Percy beamed as he looked back and forth between his friends. "We were just heading inside to grab some lunch. Want to join us?"

"Sure." Blaine said brightly. Together, the group of four walked back into the school and started down the hall. They didn't get too far before they were stopped as someone shouted Percy's name. He turned to face the football player who had called him, and in return had a bright blue slushie tossed right into his face.

The people that walked through the hallway almost seemed to stop in that moment. They turned to stare for a moment before quickly scurrying off in whatever direction they had previously been going in. Percy stood, his three friends around him, with his face all scrunched up in response to the sudden coldness and stinging on his face and in his eyes. He didn't dare open them.

"Welcome to the loser club!" He listened to the laughs of the football players as they walked by, completely unable to do anything about it. Slowly, he attempted to open his eyes. The sticky syrup dripped down his face and into his clothes. He tried to use his ability to become instantly dry, but most of the liquid wasn't water so there wasn't much of an effect.

"I think I am going to head home for the day." Percy finally said aloud. He was met with three understanding head nods. He held his hand out towards Annabeth. When she took it, they walked down the halls together towards the front doors of the building. They walked for a while until they reached the Fabray homestead.

Percy really wanted a shower.
