1. I've Decided...

Reina: Sorry for breaking hearts in the Vampire's Servant! While I will resolve that plot soon, this is a "What if I fell in love with Male Corrin?" story.

As a note, the Vampire Leo tale and other related stories fall under the "FE Kyūketsuki universe," meaning that it won't be connected to my other FE fics.

"Are you okay, Lord Leo?" You ask. "You don't look well, and I'm worried about you."

"I'm fine, (Y/N). In fact, I am better than fine!"

"Why?"

"Because... I'm dating Leora, and I am positive that I am in love with her," Leo stated.

"You have a decision to make," Echo mutters as she turns to face you. The first thing that strikes you are her deep purple eyes, yet she continues to speak. "From this point, you have five paths to pick from."

"Why five?"

"I don't know," Echo responds. "I thought that there was more, but after pulling what I did, I don't think that anyone can trust me with this...."

You shake your head and look at the girl. "Okay... Whatever. Five paths. How do I pick them?"

"It's quite simple," she replied as she summoned a piece of parchment. "You look at these paths, and pick an action to fulfill. Like Fire Emblem Fates."

You look at Echo. "I've made my decision."

She nods and you hand the parchment to her. "I'm glad you have picked, (Y/N)." She summoned a portal behind her. "With luck, we'll see each other again, and maybe I'll reveal my identity to you... But be warned - your path will be a difficult one to pull through." With that, she turned and left, leaving you behind in the Decision Chamber.

I can do this, you think to yourself. You blink and you're standing in front of Leo again.

"So (Y/N)..." Leo began. "What do you think of Leora? Will she make a good wife?"

You close your eyes and take a deep breath. When you open them, you glare at Leo.

"What's wrong, (Y/N)?"

"I HATE YOU!" You screech as you shove him.

"Wh-What?"

"YOU'RE A JERK FOR BREAKING MY HEART! I HOPE LEORA DIES A HORRIBLE DEATH AND YOU FEEL GUILT OVER THAT!!!!" Having vented out your feelings to Leo, you turn and bolt from the room, crying as you did so. You didn't pay attention to where you were going, but you somehow made it outside to the garden, where it was raining. You sought refuge at the pavilion, and curled up there, sobbing and not caring if you ruined your outfit.

After what seemed like an eternity, you felt a jacket over shoulders.

"You'll get sick if you stay out in the rain."

You look up to see Cori smiling at you. You couldn't help but smile back. His smile was infectious. Cori sat down next to you and wrapped an arm around your shoulders in order to comfort you.

"Leo's a jerk," Cori muttered, voice dripping with bitterness. "I thought that he would have better manners as a prince..."

You stare at Cori as he pulls you in tighter. He looks at you and smiles.

"What are you doing out here?" You ask.

"I was looking for you. I just wanted to make sure that you were okay... And I'm kind of hiding from Leo."

"Why?"

"... I may have punched him in the face," Cori confessed. "A girl like you doesn't deserve to get rejected like that."

"... Was it obvious that I liked Leo?" You ask.

"A little," Cori muttered bitterly.

You stare forward. "I don't want to return to the mansion."

"Me either," Cori replied. "Let's stay out here for a bit."

You smile. "Yeah... It's so peaceful out here."

The two of you sit in silence. "Cori?"

"Yeah?"

"Are Leo's retainers going to punish you?"

"Nah. Odin was the one who tripped Leo after I punched him, and Niles laughed when Leo fell down the staircases as he chased me."

You couldn't help but laugh. Cori seemed so calm about this whole incident, and it made you feel better about this whole situation.

Ugh... You have mushy feelings, Lamia muttered. This is making me sick.

Go away, Lamia, you think silently.

"Hey, (Y/N)," Cori stated quietly, breaking you from your thoughts.

"Yeah?"

"Let's go somewhere far from here. Somewhere with lots of sunshine and laughter."

You couldn't help but laugh again. "That would be fun. Maybe later."

Cori nodded in understanding. "Alright!"

You smiled but glanced solemnly at the dreary mansion. You dreaded going back.
