Chapter One: I Must Live Under A Rock.
Scarlett’s POV
“Mom, don’t you dare even say the words.” Serena argued, “I’m not driving Scarlett to school. It’s bad enough that we’re living under the same roof, but to be caught dead driving to school with her? My reputation will go straight downhill.”
“Well, it’s not my fault Scarlett missed her bus. Please, you will take her to school, Serena.” Mom replied sternly.
“But-”
“End of conversation.”
“Oh my god!” Serena shouted, “You’re ruining everything!”
I just kept to myself, slowly following my twin outside the front door being attacked by the breezy, fresh air of Boston.
As I opened the door to the silver Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, Serena formed a strange look on her face.
“And, what do you think you’re doing?” She asked.
“Um, getting in the car...” I mumbled.
“You didn’t actually think I was going to drive you, were you?” She giggled, “Walk. You can use the exercise.”
I looked down at my stomach. It wasn’t that big. I would call myself average, not too skinny, not too overweight.
“But Serena, it takes 30 minutes to walk from here. I’ll be late.” I mentioned.
“Your problem, not mine.” She sneered as the convertible backed out of the driveway, onto the road.
My parents offered to buy me my own vehicle, but I turned them down. They spent way too much on Serena’s, no need to spend money on me, as well. I preferred walking anyways, but not when I’m rushed.
I sighed to myself and started walking down the sidewalk, hoping I won’t be that late.
When I was speed walking trying to save at least two or three minutes, a black car slowed down beside me.
A window rolled down in the backseat, and a handsome face with swirling green eyes and a nice smile appeared.
“Need a ride? Westville, I’m guessing?” He stated.
“Uhm, yeah.” I answered.
“Well, I’m going to the same place, so you can join me?” He asked.
“Uh,” I thought. It would save so much time. “Sure, thanks.” I decided as he opened the door, and scooted over.
When I stepped in, I noticed there were four other figures in the car. When it came to view, I noticed they were all guys. Cute guys. I never really thought anyone was cute, good looking, or hot, but these guys, were something else.
“Hi, do you know who we are?” The blonde haired boy asked.
“Uhm, not that I recall, should I?” I wondered.
“No, no. It’s just,” The one who asked me to carpool said, “We’re in a band. We’re called One Direction.”
That name did ring a bell. I remembered some cheerleaders giggling and squealing about them the other day.
“Oh...sorry. I must really live under a rock.” I notified,
Some of the guys chuckled.
“No worries, we’re just kind of starting out.” The one with the black hair pointed out.
“If you guys are singers, why are you going to a school?” I questioned.
“We’re on a break. Just to get to know each other a little bit more before we start anything else. We were formed on a singing television show called The X Factor.” The blonde haired boy said.
Wow, I really need to know their names.
“I’m Louis, and that’s Harry, Liam, Niall and Zayn.” He began, as I started to think they could read my mind. But, my confused face must have caught them on.
“Nice to meet you guys, my name is Scarlett.” I quietly greeted them.
They were all so good looking. Especially Harry.
