March 6th. First day back. Normally, there would be students rustling and bustling about their homes, either mad that they can't stay in bed for one more hour or happy that their long break finally came to an end and they have something to do other than lie around and sleep for twelve hours.
And the decent sized city of Donghae was a pretty normal city. Students proved to be eager about their return to school, evident of their rushing out of their homes with various breakfast foods in hand and/or mouth. Most of these teenagers attended publics school. But a select few were lucky enough to get accepted into the very prestigious school right around the corner from most neighborhoods. Students from far and wide, mostly in Korea, traveled to attend such a highly praised school. Its acceptance rates were as high as any school could get. The classes and students are the models of all neighboring schools, not that they mind.
Saeddong High. The school of myth to many teenagers in Donghae. Mess up once and you're out, sent to your second school of choice, that is if you have one. Most students that make it into the school are the child of parents that have connections with the staff or have enough money to "coerce" their child's forms to the top of the list. Although, some lucky few use their academic rank to get in. These students that do make it in are the envy of every other school.
These students are deemed the most stuck up of all.
At first glance, one would have trouble picking these students out. But, looking a little closer to the sparse groups of students making their way to school, the differences become clearer. Jackets with the initials of students embroidered in gold that shined like a dragon's scales in the early sunlight,. Very clean and shiny, black loafers with grey socks that were pulled way past the bottoms of skirts. Matching brown duffel bags with long name tags, the Hangul on them somewhat teasing the lowers as they passed. They never traveled or mingled with students from other schools, but this was to be expected.
Even the building showed superiority, with its shiny windows and pristine white scaffolding. The beige concrete looked as if it were power washed every time a foot made its way over it and the bricks didn't look a day past being laid down.
It was no mystery why people dreamed of attending this haven of a school.
Saeddong High, after all, is the best secondary school in all of Donghae. Even, dare I say, South Korea?
A/N: Okay, so this is my prologue. I hope it's okay and/or acceptable. Donghae is a real place, on the north east coast of South Korea, but Saeddong High is fictional, hopefully. I came up with the name myself! I hope people apply for this, after all this "hard work" I put into this (It took a total of three days to do this, I believe around three hours total went into typing though, so...). Please share this with your friends I know you have, I need forms! Oh, and I have another apply fic. If you like the idea of having you own band or whatever, that's the place to go, arraseo?!
