Chapter 31

Fifth period. Fifth period on a Friday always dragged on the longest, especially because I knew that me and Chloe were going to be with all the boys for the rest of weekend. Reece stayed at mine last night and is probably still there or just leaving to come get us. My mum made Reece sleep on the sofa which we had to agree to because she thought that we stayed in separate beds anyways, which sucked. It was hard knowing he was downstairs and I was upstairs all alone. I did sneak down at about midnight to see if he was still up which he was and we spent about two hours just laying there together with light chat. I've been so tired today so maybe that wasn't the best idea but it helped me get to sleep afterwards. 

"So who's the boy Megs" Chelsea asked me. Me and Chelsea had been friends for a while, we drifted apart in year 9 but we've gotten so much closer over the past months, me, her and Chloe always had a chat in Maths. It was so boring so we had each other to keep ourselves entertained. 

"Reece, you must've heard Chels"

"I think she wants to hear it from you though" Chloe looked up from an equation she was doing in her book and both her and Chelsea were giving me the eye.

"Okay okay, So we met at a concert signing because he stole my phone really didn't he" I looked to Chloe who looked sucked in to the story already

"Chelsea it was the cutest thing that I've ever seen, he ran after her to give it, it was from a movie or something"

"Does Scott know?" Chelsea didn't know the deal with me and Scott, I know I promised myself that I'd tell the boys today but it didn't feel right, I didn't want everyone knowing how I was treated I guess.

"Yeah, he wasn't happy but that doesn't matter" 

"I can't understand why the lads are giving you so much hassle about it. If a boy cheated on me I'd be exactly the same" Chelsea and Chloe I would say are my closest girl friends. Chloe's obviously my best friend but even though Chelsea hangs around with different people she's still such a close friend. "Who's that?" I turned to look out a window and saw a black car pull up outside that gates. When Joe stepped out I was a little shocked, I didn't know he came down I thought it was just Reece and Blake. When the boys got out after him my face broke out into a smile. "Is that him Megs?" Still smiling I nodded. I think Reece saw me looking and this could get awkward fast because I'm in school. I turned back to my work and waited for the questions to roll in from Chelsea. "Wait so who's the black haired one?"

"That's Blake" Chloe piped up from being silent

"He's cute, is he single Megs cause you could play cupid" I looked over to Chloe who was trying not to let loose that she was Blake's girlfriend

"Um no, he's in a relationship, it just hasn't gone official yet" She mouthed Chloe and I nodded but told her not to say anything because it's something they need to do in their own time. The bell rang signalling for us to leave. Finally. Me and Chloe walked out the front gates and towards Joe, Reece and Blake that were standing by the black car. They greeted us, Reece more pubically with me. Why can't they just go official already, it would make things so much easier.

"You've got our bags?" I looked down at their empty hands, please don't say they forgot all my stuff. Reece even helped me pack last night how could he forget.

"Yeah they're in the car, I didn't forget don't worry" It's like he could read my mind. We jumped in the black taxi and it drove us to the train station. Joe text me this morning that he needed to talk to me and Chloe at some point tonight about whats happening tomorrow. He said he'd sit with us on the train for a bit when the boys fall asleep because he wanted it to be kept a secret. The car ride was short and sweet, light chatter from all of us. By the time we got all of our bags out of the car and on to the station platform our train was already there and about to leave, thank god we made it with enough time! We put all of our bags in the luggage space on the train and sat in a booth made for six. It took absolutely ages for Reece and Blake to fall asleep, but when they finally did myself, Chloe and Joe moved to a different booth to discuss tomorrow nights antics. It took Joe the rest of the journey to explain in detail what our roles where going to be, me and Chloe were getting seriously confused with some of it but he said everything would all make sense when we got to the venue tomorrow. When Reece and Blake woke up we were getting our bags from where we put them so we could get off the train and get to the hotel quickly. 

"Do you want to order anything in?" Reece asked as he shut our hotel room door and dropped our bags on the bed

"I'm really not hungry, I'd rather just get an early night. It's a big day tomorrow" I let a yawn out, stretched my arms and flopped on to the bed.

"I'm cool with that" We got ourselves ready for bed and got under the covers.

"It's really cold" I was practically shivering even under the covers.

"Come closer then" Reece opened his arms and pulled my closer to him, wrapping me in his warm embrace. 

This was definitely my favourite place to be.
