First bite

The eye

Going to school today was hard. With the people coming to my house and Anthony I don't know what to do. Should I change him or kill him for my own profit. I guess I will ask him once its lunch time, but what if he just runs away? Will I have to kill him? I will just ask him. It better then nothing.

At lunch I saw Anthony siting at our table I go over to sit next to him, but before I could a girl sat there. So I just sat across from him. It looked like he did not know this girl so I just motioned for him to join me in the corner for a second.

"Hay what's up you didn't call me last night? Is everything ok?" I shack my head and tell home everything from the people in the house to me having to decide his fate. His mouth was on the floor by the time I finished this.

"So what am I you going to do to me? Kill or change me?" He asked. I just shock my head for I did not know what to do. "I'm giving you the option. Do you want to change or die? It is up to you. If you want to change I will teach you how to be one of us. If not then it will be much easier but I am willing to do both apon your command. I will give you till this weekend to decide." I said and started my walk away from him. Right now I could not look him in the eye. It was just to painful.

With the last class of the day we sat next to each other. At the beginning of class he slipped me a note that said-

Dear Ian, I do not know witch one to choose so I would like to know witch one will hurt more. Vampierisum or death.

I wrote him back with the best answer I could give him.

I think that becoming a vampire would hurt more, but in the long run it is a better life then death.

It took him a long time to answer back but when he did he answered that he wanted to change. The last line he wrote was that he wanted me to come to his house this after noon and talk to him about this. I suggested my house and that's when we where caught.

"Mr. Hecox would you like to explain what this note is about? Our would you like me to read it to the howl class?" Our teacher yelled at us and the first thing that came to mine I blurred out. "Do what ever you want with it. It's not going to make a difference. Tell my mom if you have to." Wow I was in a world of trouble now. "We'll then you two can tell that to the councilor because that's where you are going.

When we got there the councilor already had a stern look on her face. Our teacher must have called her. "What do you two have to say for your selves? Interrupting the class like that. Don't you ever burst into class like that agin!" Now we where confused. "Ma'am that wasn't us. We where the ones passing notes in class." She gives us a stern look and writes us a slip of paper that said in big red letters. SUSPENSION. we looked at each other and raised our eye brows. "Go home right now! I will be calling your parents to notify them." At that moment a drop of spit came out of her mouth and landed in Anthony's eye.

We walked out of the office and went to pack our things up and head home. On the way back to the class room Anthony starts to rub his eye.

"God what was in that spit of hers, my eye is burning." I stopped him and looked strait into his eye, it was red and black. This was not good. I ran to the class room got our things and dragged him out of the school. I then picked him up and ran to my house at full speed.

When I got home it was dark and soundless. I payed Anthony on the couch and bite my wrist feeding him my blood. The blood in my body has a healing property in it and will cure almost any sickness. I opened his eye to see if it was working. The black was fading but not fast. By the time it finished healing all of my blood would be gone.

I Hurd the rush of feet come down stairs and Shaludica came down with a mad look on her face. "I just got a call from your school! Why are you-". I cut her off with the wave of my hand. "Anthony's dying! What do I do? I'm not going to have the blood I need to give to him! Pleas help me!" She rushed over fast after biting her wrist and pushing me over to the side.

She did not mean to push me down but I was so weak from the lose of blood that my legs gave in. "So why where you banned from school for the next week mister?" She stated in a cruel toon. How can she be talking like that when my one and only best friend was dying and what she cared about now was school.

"Look there was a misunderstanding. The people who got in real trouble just looked like us from behind. It wasn't me so pleas do kill me agin!" I yelled and right after that I saw her knees fall to the ground. Her brown hair fell in front of her face.

I pushed her to the side now that my blood was back. I opened Anthony's eye to see that it was almost gone. I sighed in relief that the bug was almost gone.

Anthony slowly started to open his eyes. "Ian is that you?" He mumbled from underneath my wrist. I node and tell him to rest. "After you are done getting better we will talk about everything. Just get some rest. You are going to need it." I told him, and at that he closed his eyes and went back to sleep. I removed my arm from him mouth and laid down on the floor next to him. I would need some rest to for what was about to come the next day, but for right now I was just happy that he was okey.

I could feel my eyes start to close as my bode started to shut down for a good nights sleep. As everything went black I started to dream of what was to come.
