"You need all the help you can get! I have some friends... Lauren's, Mulligan, Marquis de Lafayette!" Hamilton said.
"Ok." Washington said.
"I need some spies on the inside, some kings men who might let some things slide."
"I already have a ring in store."
"I'll write to congress and tell them we need supplies, you rally the guys, master the element of surprise. I'll rise above my station, organize your information till we rise of the occasion of our new nation SIR!"
"Will do, Hamilton."
Alex started to leave. "Hold on a minute." Washington said, "John Laurens— who is he to you?"
"A friend."
"Thank you. I have a lot of work to be done and so do you."
Alex left and walked through the station of men. Burr stopped him. "What was that?" Aaron demanded. "What was what?" Hamilton responded. "You just embarrassed me in front of our commander! Why? My name has a good reputation in these parts, and you just go and blow it for me."
"I did nothing to harm you."
"People don't like you, Mister Hamilton. Rumors have it your seeing a person. A man."
"Are you calling me a homosexual?"
"No. I—"
"I'm sorry Burr, I have a lot of work to do. Congress is calling." Hamilton leaves to go into his tent to write his papers and deliver them to Congress. Burr is alone standing alone, the wind is blowing and the sun is creeping down the horizon.
"Washington hires Hamilton right on sight, but Hamilton still wants to fight not right."
Season quickly fades into Winter of 1780 to a ballroom. Burr is watching Hamilton closely, Alexander asks a girl to dance with him. They begin to dance: "But what do we have in common?"
Hamilton finishes his dance with a maiden and walks over to Aaron. "We're liable with the..."
"LADIES!" Both of them yelled.
"Oh my—" Alexander was saying.
"God." But Burr cut him off.
Laurens, Lafayette, and Mulligans come over to both of them.
Mulligans said, "It's the— "
They all said, "the Schuyler Sisters!"
Eliza, Angelica, and Peggy are dancing with a few rebel soldiers.
"Their father is wealthy and their bodies are tight with those huge corsets." Burr said.
"You wish you could have one." Lafayette said with his french accent.
"Does anyone want here want a drink?" Laurens offered.
Hamilton was the only person who responded, "wine."
John left to go to the refreshment table near Angelica and Eliza Schuyler.
Laurens was staring at Alexander at the table. Alex began to bite his lip. Laurens was getting sweaty. Then Eliza looked over at Hamilton who was flirting with Laurens, Eliza was in front of John so it made it seem like Hamilton was flirting with her. She came over to him.
"Hello." She said.
"Hi there. Eliza Schuyler, right?"
She nodded. "And you?"
"Alexander Hamilton."
"The right hand man of General George Washington? I'm impressed. Very."
"The daughter of the senator of New York?" Hamilton continued, "I've been impressed."
I looked over my shoulder to look at John who was talking to Peggy. I then noticed Angelica was eyeing me from a distance while dancing with another guy. "I have to go. Here's my address. Write to me." She left with her sisters.
John Laurens walked over to Alexander Hamilton. "You just talked to a Schuyler Sister!"
"And?"
"Um— Hey, do you want to go back to your place?" Alex dragged John to a room away from the party and into a room. Alex pushed him onto the bed and Alex climbed on top of him unbuttoning his undergarment and bluecoat. Their soft lips connected. Then Alex entered his pen15 into John's —
They were up all night. Before sunrise, Alex told John: "Nobody needs to know."
3 months later
Alex's letters to Eliza have been going on for months now. After getting Philip Schuyler's consent, he finally asked her to marry him. When he told Mulligans, Washington, and Lafayette: "Don't tell John Laurens!"
"Why not?" Mulligans asked.
"He loved Eliza Schuyler..." He lied, "just let it be a surprise on our wedding day."
They all agreed to keep it a secret from him.
Alexander Hamilton is helpless
