Nathan's POV

Ugghh... What's with his "MY closet" and "MY ball"?!

He is so snotty and spoiled.

And his FATHER has respect for my family?!

Nuh uh, I'm gonna leave this rich boy's place as soon as possible.

Never coming back here again, EVER.

The prince pulled me by my arm, into the ballroom.

At the corner of the room was a long table with plates, filled with food.

My eyes widened delightfully as I licked my lips and shook the prince off of me.

Dashing toward the food, I grabbed a plate and started piling it with all sorts of food.

I soon had 5 plates, balanced perfectly, and my pockets filled with food.

Grinning, I went to the darkest corner of the ballroom and started eating.

I had finished half of my food when someone ran to my corner.

The person crouched down, peeking at the ball through her fingers.

I tapped her shoulder.

She jumped up and let out a little shriek, and turned to face me.

It was the maid from earlier.

Her eyes widened.

"Sir from earlier!"

She bowed her head.

"Why are you hiding?"

I asked her.

"Ah......"

She looked away, her cheeks turning a light pink.

"Were you being bullied?"

I asked.

Of course she was. It was so obvious.

Her eyes widened.

"H-H-how did you know...?"

She asked me, confusion and fear light in her eyes.

I smiled softly.

"You're so easy to read."

I patted her head.

"Who was bullying you?"

I asked her.

The girl turned back around, and pointed to the other side of the ball room.

"H-her...."

My eyes narrowed when I saw the woman.

She looked around my age, and she had long wavy blonde hair and blue eyes.

She looked freakishly elegant.

I gaged.

She looked too rich.

The girl sighed.

"I know you're probably laughing at me..."

I looked at her, surprised.

"Why would I laugh at you?

She looked at me, her eyes full of fear.

"She's the prince's fiancé."

Mason POV

I walked up to Amy, and took her hand and kissed her delicate soft skinned hand.

"Hello my beautiful & fare maiden, the most honored guest of all."

Amy smiled as she clung to me.

"Aww you are so sweet Mason, old timey as always!"

She said laughing her brilliant white teeth flashing.

I smiled and kissed her on her forehead clutching her waist.

"You are like a rose yourself Miss Rose!"

She frowned slightly.

"Why won't you,like, kiss me on the lips?"

Amy said pouting.

I leaned close to her face., and smile slyly.

"Aww but we will wait..for THEN, my dear Rose will be the biggest moment ever..for the both of us."

I was about to hug her when someone punched me, sending me skidding across the floor.

I quickly stood up and straightened my clothes, I heard gasps, and a slight scream from Amy, the guards rushed to my attacker but I stopped them.

Turning around I find myself looking at a very irritated boy, named Nathan, and behind him the maid he was with before.

I waved down the guards.

"It's fine this young male is completely harmless, well against me anyways."

I frowned.

"How could you let that evil witch bully other human beings?!"

He said pointing to Amy.

Tears were flowing from her eyes as she came behind me.

I frowned, and pulling out the sword I always kept with me on my waist, I pointed it at Nathan.

"You can call me or do whatever with me, but do not disrespect anyone other than me, you really shouldn't do that to ladies anyways, it very impolite."

"SCREW THAT!! That woman there hurt this lady here, she should be told something or something!!"

I stare at Nathan, and smile confidently.

"I don't believe you, she knows how much I hate people being mean to others, and why would she ever do a thing like that?"

Nathan frowned, and nodded to Amy who was still behind me.

"Why don't you ask her yourself?"

I turned around to face her.

"Very well, Amy did-"

I stop short to find that Amy had a worried look on her face.

"Mason I am sooo sorry, I was mean to that poor maid, but only because she said she wanted to take you from me! I didn't want that to happen so it kind of came out!! I am so sorry."

She hugged me, and then went to the maid and hugged her saying sorry, then she came back and hugged me clutching to me.

I smiled and stroked her hair.

"It's ok, you did the right thing to apologize, no harm done."

"NO HARM DONE?! You can clearly see that she was not sorry!"

Nathan yelled.

Amy cried harder clutching to me more, it made me mad, I pointed my sword at Nathan.

"Please stay only for my father and for the sake of your family, but remove contact from me and my dear Amy. Please do not cause anymore trouble."

He bowed down mockingly.

"Gladly."
