Nathan's POV

I wake up by someone shaking my by the shoulders.

I slide my head out of the blanket and look at the person that was shaking me.

Elise.

"Ah, good morning, Nathan. You will have a test today."

She curtsied.

"A test?!"

I groaned.

She nodded.

"Sorry, Nathan, but yes. Don't worry though, the test is quite easy."

She smiled at me softly.

I nodded.

"Mkay. Imma get dressed."

I said plainly, getting out of bed.

I walk over to the dresser, and I started slipping through the clothes in my dresser.

I heard footsteps head toward the door, and I turned around, seeing Elise walking to the door.

"Elise?"

I asked her.

She turned around, her cheeks a bright pink.

"S-s-s-sorry, I didn't want to interrupt your changing of clothes."

My eyes widened and my cheeks flushed a light pink.

She rushed out the door.

I turned back to the clothes.

Well, shit.

A girl was about to see me change.

I changed into a black hoodie and grey skinny jeans, white converse, and wrapped my white scarf around my neck.

I opened my door, and Elise was waiting outside.

"This way, Nathan."

She brought me downstairs and into the servant's quarters.

There was a big desk in the middle of the room.

"Florence?"

Elise called out.

A young lady with blonde hair and green eyes stepped out of the library.

"Ah, hello Elise."

She looked behind Elise at me.

"Ah, you must be Nathan!"

She strided over to us and smiled at me.

"I'm Florence, your chief. You will have a test today, Elise has probably told you already."

She grabbed my arm and pulled me toward her desk, giving me a paper.

"For your test, you will be making the prince his lunch. Here are the ingredients. You will be given one hour. Lunch is at 12:00."

She smiled down at me.

The prince?! His Lunch?! Aw, hell naw!

I smiled up at her.

"Got it."

I looked at the time.

10:57.

Perfect.

Elise tapped me on the shoulder.

"Nathan, I will lead you to the kitchen."

She smiled and took me to the kitchen.

It was enormous.

I gasped at all the cabinets and ingredients, cooking utensils on the walls and counters.

This was absolute paradise.

Because I loved cooking.

I rubbed my hands together, smirking.

"Now, now, what shall I make you, my prince?"
