Chapter Five

Kat woke up covered in blood. She began to scream freaking out, she couldn't remember what happened probably hours ago but she remembered being attacked.

"Help!" She screamed, tears running down her face. She heard running, sticks breaking, leaves crushing. The next thing she heard was a voice.

"Kat?" The familiar voice called.

"Here!" She yelled. Scott and Stiles appeared from the forest running to her side. They looked shocked and scared.

"What happened?" Stiles asked with wide eyes, he seemed terrified. They both bend down beside Kat looking at where the blood was coming from.

"I don't know, something attacked me then I passed out." She cried out in pain as they touched the wound. Stiles and Scott made eye contact with each other seconds after she explained the story.

"My mom is a nurse, she can help." Scott explained helping her up, but she fell back down.

"Why can't I just go to the hospital." She cried.

"My mom will help you." He picked her up, and carried her. She noticed how deep her cut was when Scott carried her to Stiles jeep and placed her down on the back seat. The pain was not stopping it was super painful.

"Were almost there." Stiles jumped in the drivers seat and Scott jumped in the passenger seat.

"We haven't even left yet!" She groaned. The pain was getting worse every second the wound was horrible.

"Yeah I know." He said before driving out of the woods and onto the streets. Kat watched as houses passed waiting for her view of Scott's house but she soon passed out from the pain of the wound.

"How is it?" Melissa, Scott's mother asked. Kat groaned adjusting her position.

"It still hurts but it hurts less." She told her. Stiles and Scott entered the room, but not alone, Malia, Kira, Lydia, and Liam also entered.

"Why is everyone here?" She asked looking around the room setting her eyes on Lydia.

"We wanted to make sure you were okay." Lydia said smiling and making her way to her side. Kat smiled when she saw Lydia by her side, her love for Lydia grew but she knew Lydia didn't feel the same but she couldn't help it.

"Here." Kira said giving Kat a cup. She grabbed the cup and tilted it to see what was in it. It had tea in it, it smelt like cinnamon and it was very warm.

"Thank you." Kat smiled at Kira. She nodded smiling back at Kat.

"We should let her relax." Melissa said, Lydia and Kira both backed away from Kat.

"Yeah, we should all talk." Scott said leaving the room, Lydia was the last one to leave.

"Feel better soon." She smiled exiting the room. Kat couldn't help but smile, Lydia's voice made her feel warm and cozy inside, she had never felt this feeling before. She turned her body and closed her eyes trying to fall asleep but she couldn't help but here everyone talking about her 'bite' she confused why they didn't tell her a bite and wanted to know what bite her but she soon drifted off into sleep.
