Chapter 6

After my shower I sat on the edge of the toilet wrapped in my towel. No matter what I did the events of last night won't stop replaying in my head. Gray was good but he wasn't Natsu good, plus he was my best friend how could I ruin something like that for a meaningless fuck to take my mind off the hate comments and everything that's happened in the last 24 hours. Finally I got up and opened the door to leave the bathroom so I can get ready for the day. "OHMIGOD! LU ARE YOU OK? YOU HAVE TO TELL ME EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED" Levy yelled running over to me enveloping me into a hug so tight I couldn't breath. 

"Let.......Me................Go" I gasped trying to wiggle out of her grasp.

"I'm sorry" she said backing up dropping her arms. "So, what happened?" she asked me confusion written all over her face as she pushed the door to her room open. "Um Lu? Where are my sheets? and what happened to my room while I was gone?" I stood in the door way fumbling with my fingers looking down as she wandered around her room which is now tainted by Gray and I. "What the hell happened yesterday?" she asked turning to me annoyance now replacing the confusion that was once on her face.

"Well, Gray came over because he knew how upset I was and I didn't want him to leave so I told him to stay but he didn't want to sleep in the same room as me so he slept in your room and I was trying to fix your room early before you got back and after he left" I lied to her walking further into the room sitting on her bed crossing my legs. As I sat down the towel I was wearing fell down some exposing the majority of my breast my areola slightly peaking out.

"LUCY IS THAT A HICKEY?" She yelled turning towards my direction looking at me. She then walked over and poked my chest right where a dark purple mark was formed along with other red marks along my breast. Shit.

"Don't worry about it" I said standing up readjusting the towel, "I hooked up with someone last night, it was some random guy at the bar." I lied walking towards her door to leave. "After my meeting with Natsu I was extremely flustered and horny so I went to the bar and had fun, my toys just weren't gonna cut it" I shrugged as Levy watched me walk away with her mouth wide open and her eyes coming out of her head. "Now are we done? I don't want to talk about this anymore" I huffed walking to my room to get dressed and ready for the day. 

I walked into my room letting the towel fall so I was now completely naked besides my hair that was cascading down my back and my shoulders. I walked over to my wardrobe and pulled on a pair of sweatpants from Brandy Melville and a plain oversized grey T-shirt after grabbing some underwear. I walked over to my vanity and put my hair in a messy bun sitting in front of it to put on mascara and moisturizer before I put on lip gloss. I stood up and collected all my notes and laptop from my bed and put them in my satchel before slinging it over me. "where is my phone?" I asked myself throwing stuff off my bed onto the floor looking for the device. I grabbed a pair of dark sunglasses, packing my actual glasses in my bag and slid on my birks before walking out of the room. I went to the living room and found my phone on the floor near the couch, I picked it up and ordered an Uber to a Philz coffee shop so I could work without any distractions. I grabbed my house keys and my wallet and shoved them into the bag as I walked out the apartment putting on my sunglasses. As I stepped outside a silver Toyota pulled up in front of me "Uber for Lucy?" the woman driving asked me. I checked the app to look for the license plate number and the picture of the driver before nodding and entering the car. As soon as I closed the door the woman took off in the direction of the coffee place.

"I'm sorry but could you slow down please" I asked but she obviously didn't hear me over the loud pop music coming out the speakers, I sighed and slouched in my seat looking out the window waiting for her to pull up to my destination. Finally after the 12 minute ride that felt more like a 12 hour ride I got out and walked to the double glass doors of Philz. I pulled the door open and entered the building the fresh smell of coffee immediately hitting my nose, I sighed and walked over to the counter to order my usual a large iced gingersnap coffee. After getting my drink I sat in the corner of the cafe and got my computer and my notes out. I put on my actual glasses sliding the sunglasses in the case temporarily before I put in my  Airpods and started listening to the voice notes writing down key points and finding everything I could online. After about 30 minutes I got up and ordered another drink and stretched my legs a bit before taking my drink and getting back to work. I had finally went through all of my audio files so I decided to listen to music as I start to put everything together in my project. I was so deep in thought and focused on my work, I had about 3 cups on the table around me before I realized the flashes of cameras and the teenage girls around the cafe holding their phones in my direction. "Hi girls" I smiled waving to them taking my glasses off before another person came into the cafe.
