Hey guys!
I just felt like editing this. I re-read it how it was before and it was just bleh... (like common I wrote this as an english assignment last year btw XP)
I'll finish editing it when I'm bothered.
I'm trying to work more on the characters and make some deeper meaning out of this but my brain if completely dead (ATAR life mate!)
The beginning hasn't much changed but its mainly the ending.
Thank your for reading and let me know your thoughts!

They say life isn't easy, and that's completely true. Life for us is confusing and unbearable. In Althea's case however, she would have been a real success. Unfortunately she found out our secret, not that we're terrible at hiding our secrets. But she found out anyway, so she had to go.

The siren bellowed loudly, waking Althea from her pleasant sleep.
'CRAP!' she yelled, and sprang out of bed, rushing to get changed. 'Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!' It was the first day of term four at University and obviously, if you haven't realised, Althea slept in and was now late for class. Althea hastily pushed her hair into a messy bun, collected her books and ran out of her dormitory. When she reached the bottom of the stairs, she realised she had forgotten her shoes and to lock her dormitory. So she run up three flights of stairs, swearing under her breath, and finally got shoes on and locked her dormitory. Speeding through the grounds, her glasses lopsided, she ran into to the lecture room, rudely interrupting Professor Ivory who now stared at her with great surprise.
'My, my, Althea.' He looked completely dumbfounded by her sudden appearance, 'firstly, you're quite late, and secondly, are you aware of how improperly dressed you are?' Althea looked down at herself, she was wearing a normal T-shirt over her baggy pyjama top, wore her pants inside out and had two odd shoes.
'Oh, my.' She looked out at the students sitting at their desks, all of which staring at her, some trying extremely hard not to burst out laughing. 'Um...' Althea sighed, looking back to Professor Ivory, 'May I go and quickly get changed, Professor?'
'Very well,' replied Professor Ivory, 'but be quick, we are about to start our next topic... and I want you to come back here at break so I can fill you in on what you have missed out. It is very important for the upcoming exams.' Once again, Althea rushed back through the grounds, back three flights of stairs and, this time paying attention to what she was putting on, got changed. And finally returned to class.
When the siren rang signalling break, everyone poured into the grounds. But following Professor Ivory's instructions, Althea stayed behind.
'As you very well know, Althea,' said Professor Ivory, 'we are studying the Bubonic Plague and its causes and effects. Before you arrived late we were talking about where it had originated from, so-'
'The Bubonic Plague,' said Althea, almost automatically, 'or otherwise known as the Black Death, first originated from Central China around 1338 to 1339. From there it had spread into India at about 1346 and in the following year infected the Black Sea port of Kaffa. And from there the plague had spread all over Europe. Oh, sorry for interrupting you, Professor.'
She hadn't realised she had interrupted Professor Ivory. The night before, Althea had decided to read ahead in her textbook so she would be ready for class, and had already learned what was going to be discussed that lesson.
