Chapter 5

Reva's POV

Once I was done eating I turned to the others "Thanks so much for having me but I'm gonna head back now...breaks almost over" I said as I was standing up. As I was leaving I heard my name being called and turning back I saw Jamie
"Reva! Lemme join you back. I have to get something from Megan who works with you" he said walking beside me
"No problem" I said and we began chatting away. When we got into the office, we said our goodbye's and went our separate ways. When I got to my table, I didn't expect the pile of paperwork I saw there and the little note telling me that I had to finish it up before I went home today.
   Groaning,I sat down and began to work on the paper works. Before long I heard the intercom ringing. Picking it up I said"Consultant Office,how may I help you"
"I'm looking for a Reva Daniel"the person at the other end of the line said
"Yes,this is her"
"OK,Mr Carlisle would like you to come up now"
"OK, I'll be on my way"I said before hanging up. I arranged my table and left my office. As I was heading over to the top floor where the Ceo's office was I wondered want I could have done to make him call me up. On getting to his floor, I said hello to his secretary before heading over to his door. On getting there, I took a deep breathe before knocking on the door. I think I heard a low "Come in" before I slowly pushed the door open and walked in.
"Afternoon Mr Carlisle, I was told that you sent for me?" I said once I got into his office
"Yes I did, take a sit Reva"
I didn't understand why I was feeling the way I was feeling. I was feeling like a bucket of cold water was poured down my spine making me shiver but I was determined not to let it show so I sat down.
"Now Reva,"he started" Firstly I would like you to call me Damon."
"OK, anything else??"I asked wanting to leave his office as soon as I could.
"No,I was calling you to ask how your first day at the office and if you've been having any problems"he said looking at me.
"Yes,everything is fine and I love this place but thanks for your concern"
"Anytime,you may leave"
"Yes sir"I said as I began to leave. Just before I left his office, I heard him say "Reva its Damon."
When I got to my office, I realized that it was already passed the time I was supposed to get the kids from school. Packing my things from the office,I left just after signing out. After picking my kids from school,it was straight home from there.

On getting home,the kids hurriedly walked into the house.
"Moma,can I play a game before taking a bath"Ivan asked
"No you can't but if you go and take a shower you'll have enough time to play games before lunch"
"Yes Moma" he said before running to take his bath. Laughing, I walked into the kitchen and there I met my little girl staring into space.
"Ivy honey,what's wrong??"I asked her
"In class today everyone was talking about their daddy and I didn't say anything cuz it felt weird."
Sighing I held her to me.
"Sweetie,daddy wherever he is loves you so much...don't forget what I told you,if we stick together then you don't really need daddy"
"Yes Moma"she said
"Good girl, go take a shower and I'll make your favorite for you."
Jumping down from my arms she ran to her room.
After cooking lunch,I watched them eat before Honey came to take them out to the park with Amy and Dom.
After they left,I sat there thinking about my kids and their father who I had no idea who it is. Still thinking, I slept on the couch.
