"The storm had settled down, and the world was quite again, except for the sound of few droplets that are falling from the tree leaves, the beauty of the remains of the rain. She took a deep breath, inhaled the beautiful smell of the ground beneath her. She couldn't help but smile to herself as the post-rain smell of the mud, the ground, always reminded her of her beloved husband,Derek, who was crazy for her though they lived miles apart.

They say that distance destroys the love between two, but in case of Reggi and Derek, that seemed to be opposite. The distance rather made the bond between them even stronger,stronger and beautiful than anyone had every imagined.

Reggi in the early phase of their marriage hated it when Derek went away,but she couldn't stop him, he had to work- they had to survive. Derek was in British Army,so he was usually away, and the thought that something might happen to him made Reggi worry even more about him. She was......."

"Hey, gimme back my book. I swear your sooo dead Ab's" I shout, as Abby snatches the book I was reading away from me.

"Never, not this time T.J." She said sticking her tongue out like a five year old. The grin in her face reflects the happiness that she got by taking my book away. Well she loved doing that, and I let her do because unfortunately Abby happens to be my best-friend. Such a friend she is!

" Why do you have to do this, meany!" I say as I pout and make a frowning face.

" And why do you have to such a book sucker " she says quoting the word "book-sucker" using both of her u finger.

"First of all I am not, and second of all its not book-sucker, its book worm." I say as I get up from the desk,close the book I was reading, pick my bag up from the floor and make my way towards the librarians desk.

"Book-sucker, book-worm, whatever! Its the same thing that defines you." She says as she follows me.

"For the millionth time I am not. I just love to read,gives me peace. And I can't help it when there is a whole world of literature waiting for me to save me from the ugly reality and from a friend who is worse than voldomort." I say as I return the book i was reading to the librarian, grab her hand and walk towards the girls changing room.

"Yea...whatever ass!" She says as she rolls her eyes and half-smiles,half-laughs.

So ladies and gentlemen this is how me and Ab's are. Ab's is like my other-half, my best friend. We have been friends since the day I can remember. Though we are miles apart from being similar, we are like so very close to each other. Not even a single day can we stand not talking to each other though she can irritate me like shit. But she enjoys the fact that I get irritated by her, specially when she does something while I'm reading or something to my books.

Lemme give you all a proper introduction of Ab's, her full name is Abby Benson. Only I get to call her Ab's.

Okhai I'm kidding, even her boyfriend Ronald,who is also my other best friend, calls her Ab's .Ab's is the perfect example of beauty with brain's. She has this perfect long blonde hair, pinkish-fair complexion, perfect sexy body, with curves at the right place, 5'5 height and great school grades. She has boys going head over heels for her,maybe not just for her looks but also for her outgoing, energetic and sweet nature.

Ronald Stark is the schools one of the most popular and handsome guy and, is 100ft deep drowned in love with my best-friend. We met Ronald when we joined the junior school. He was that guy, even back then, who was always in trouble and truthfully I have no clue how we became friends. Best friends actually.

They have been dating for a like a year now, and I'm actually really happy to see both of my best friend so much in love with each other but the fact that they get all lovy-dovy and cheesy in front of me annoys me like hell. Though Ab's tries her best not to do those stuff in front of me , Ronald on the other hand does more of those gross talks with her in front of me just to get on my nerves. Ronald is a total jerk though he is my best friend.
