(Scene: Bella’s house, a good looking house with a few luxury things)
(On-stage: Bella and Tom)
Narrator: Bella is getting mad because sadly Bella has been given rather… bad news.
Bella: I WILL NOT MARRY THAT MAN!
Tom: But Bella… You must! The king requests it!
Bella: I know where King Charming can shove his request!
(Straight after)
Tom: BELLA! PLEASE! THE KINGDOM NEEDS YOU!
Bella: I REFUSE! I CANNOT MARRY PRINCE CHARMING! I MEAN IT!
Tom: Bella! No one else will marry him!
Bella: I DON’T CARE I SAID NO! FOR GOODNESS SAKE! I HATE HIM!
(Tom sighs and gets on his hands and knees)
Tom: You’re King Charming’s only hope! Please Bella! Please!
Bella: NO! I will not!
Tom: Bella, darling, you’re… beautiful so PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE!
Bella: For goodness sake Tom! I’ve said no! I cannot and will not marry him!
(He sighs)
Tom: Then for goodness sake come to the ball!
(She sighs)
Bella: WILL IT GET YOU TO LEAVE ME ALONE?!
(Tom nods and hands her an invitation)
(Exit Tom)
(Bella hears a knock on the door)
(She opens it)
(Enter King Charming)
King Charming: Bella my dear! (He hugs her)
(She hugs him back)
Bella: Your majesty! It’s a pleasure to see you here today
(She bows to him)
King Charming: No need for formalities. Are you coming to the ball?
(He smiles sweetly at her)
Bella: But of course! I told your servant that I would attend but now I’m even more likely to now that I know his majesty personally requests me to go to the ball!
King Charming: Of course I do. Such rare beauty surely MUST attend!
(Bella blushes)
Bella: Of course sir!
(He kisses her hand)
King Charming: Save me the first dance!
Bella: Of course! I’ll be in green!
(Exit King Charming)
Bella: I got asked to dance by King Charming!
