We were just a couple of teens living in Oklahoma, it was old and boring there. Then at the end of freshmen year me and some friends had found that we could become exchange students in Hawaii. Our parents disagreed completely (of course) but we were persistent, and we prevailed. By June we had packed up our most beloved belongings and were off.
