Finally Friday! Means that we are going on holiday tomorrow. I still needed to pack everything. My suitcase was standing inside of my room... totally empty. I seriously had no clue what to take with me and what to just leave at home.
As we were going for a camping trip it was absolutely useless to take any electronic equipment with me. Two weeks without YouTube, mobile, camera and Twitter. How on earth would I survive this?
'Oh come on Zo, you can manage a few days without internet, can't you??'
Yes, I definitely could. Well, at least I promised that to myself.
Without any clue I was standing in front of my cupboard, looking through all the tank tops and shorts to find something that I could take for the trip. My sisters already packed their bags. I mean, how on earth did they even manage that??
Oh right... I remember. Mom.
After several hours (yes, actual hours) I finished packing. My clothes weren't too fancy, I mean we would live between trees and bushes, I would ruin most of my clothing. In my Suitcase I had some tank tops, shorts, the stuff I needed for my face and teeth, a hair brush, pajamas and some other dresses and stuff. Just like the things you would normally take with you on Holiday.
The day itself passed slowly and I couldn't wait for Saturday morning.
I spent the night watching YouTube videos and texting. Nothing special. For some reason I couldn't get my eyes shut for more than five minutes. I got barely any sleep and too excited to function properly.
The next morning arrived and suddenly our house was filled with chaos. People running past each other, screaming around, looking for stuff they forgot to pack. We finally managed to get into the car. After running the stairs up and down for at least 30 times.
Not even five minutes into the ride Anna yelled: "Mommy I forgot my Teddy!!!"
Aaaaand all the way back.
Anna got her Teddy and we could start all over again.
Around two minutes later Holly told my dad that she left her pillow at home. Again we drove back to our house.
Somehow we managed to not turn around again.
Five hours later we reached the resort where we would set up our tent and spend the following two weeks. It was beautiful here. Everything shimmered greenish and had a calming effect. Little birds were singing and the sun was shining warmly.
I never wanted to leave this place again. Unfortunately the two weeks passed in a blur and were over in no time.
We had loads of fun. We did some rock climbing, hiking and other stuff you can do outside.
Halfheartedly I gathered my things and threw them into my suitcase. I didn't want to leave this place. It was so peaceful... calming.
I sighed and grabbed my things. Withe one last glance over my shoulder I sat down in the car where my family was already awaiting me. Anna and Holly were all excited to get back home. Me on the other side, I was sad. I don't know what it was about this place.
As we drove off I knew that holidays were over.
Yay, school on Monday! I am so looking forward to this... not.
At some point of time I must have fallen asleep, because as I woke up, we were almost at home. Just about twenty more minutes.
There was Titanium playing and I started singing along to it immediately, without hesitating. Soon enough everyone joined in and we were singing loudly inside of the car.
Suddenly I was smashed into my seat belt. Everything started playing in slow motion. There was a horrible sound, like metal on metal. My ears were ringing and I couldn't figure out what was happening. That was when everything went black....
*(A/N) Cliffhanger... Sorry! I know this is just a short and boring chapter but I hope you enjoyed it. I would be happy about some comments on what you think about this so I can improve the story.
Love you all
