Shadow's P.O.V
It's been years since Rosalina had come to earth. Everyone's got a family now, except me of coarse. Everyone was older and married and had children. Me? I live alone not far where they all live. They all live in a nice little neighborhood, I live on the other side, in an apartment. I thought I'd never see her again, It's been so long I even wonder if she forgot about me. No, she couldn't have... "Hey" I snapped out of my thoughts to come face to face with Elizabeth[1]. "What?" I probably sounded mad because she put her hands up in defense, "Sorry, just wondering what you were doing. The parties over there" she gestured her thumb over to everyone else at the park tables. "I don't like parties" I simply stated closing my eyes and leaning back on the tree I was standing in front of. "Then why'd you come?" she crossed her arms, she was so like him. I opened one eye a bit, "Because Amy begged me, why else?" She huffed, "Just becuase, so in other words if she didn't get on her hands and knees and beg you to come you would've just stayed in your lousy little apartment to sulk?"
She pissed me off like him too. "Look here-" "Hey Shadow, what are you guys talking about?" it was the man himself. "Hey, Sonic" hatred and annoyance seeped out of every word. "We were just talking about how thoughtless he is" she whipped around and stuck her tongue out at me and walked away. "Everyone knew that already!" Sonic shouted at her before she went out of earshot range. He then turned his head to me with a more serious look. "How you been holding up?" "I'm fine" I closed my eyes again. "You've become more distant over the years, more than usual" I didn't bother opening my eyes. "You guys have families now, kids, I shouldn't get in the way of that. You all having families makes you like one big family" I open my eyes this time but not to look at him, I look over at all of them over there. The kids talking and the adults talking about old stories, or embarrassing stories of the kids. You know how parents are. "You apart of this big family, your our friend" Amy had apparently been listening. "Right" I go back to my relaxed position. "Who doesn't want to be apart of this happy, funny, weird, but always there for you family?" she said as she gestured her hands over to everyone else.
Sonic walked away but not before he said, "Yeah, as hectic as it is, we all care for each other." Amy was still there, even though my eyes are closed I could sense her presence. It's a thing I can do. "Is this about her?" she asked with all seriousness and sympathy. I had my eyes open now, she was frowning. "Which one?" she blinked a couple of times. "20 years ago" she simply said, "oh." I looked down at the ground, she was talking about Rosalina. "I'm here for you, you can talk to me about it" I have. That's how she knows, I told about our little time. Believe it or not Amy had matured over time, a lot. She could still be very childish though. "I just... wonder-" she looked at me and nodded to tell me that is was okay. "I just wonder if she's forgotten about me" Amy put her hand on mine and looked me in the eye. "I'm pretty sure she would never forget you, up there in all the stars-" she looked up at the sky then back at me "Is the girl that you fell in love with and in turn she with you, waiting and longing to see you again" she smiled at me. "Now then, lets rejoin with everyone before I ruin my make-up" she wiped her eyes carefully trying not to smear her mascara and eyeliner. Yes, she wears mascara and eyeliner. How do you think she gets her lashes so plump.
"Hey Laura[2], don't do that to your cousin!" Daisy shouted as we approached them. "He he, kids" Peach laughs before it's her turn to yell, "Mark![3] Peter[4]! get down from there!" Amy laughs, "Troublesome two" "you have no idea" she say as she lays down on a bench. "I can't believe time went by so fast" Amy looked over at Elizabeth hugged her. "I can" Blaze said with no emotion as she ate her chips. "It felt like just yesterday I had to help Laura go to the bathroom" "Mom!" They were all so happy together, just normal families with friends, one big happy group. The ground started to shake, making some people fall over. There was a loud noise coming from not too far away from Amy and Sonic's house. We all made our way over there, me and Sonic made it there first. A door opened as someone walked out, Amy came panting until she looked at who stumbled out of this ship. "Rosalina!"

BTW, Mark and Peter are twins. All the characters are married and have kids, besides Shadow, which I will list below.

Yes, Silver and Blaze had a kid and named him Shadow. So for now on when the young Shadow is mentioned he will be called Shade. The older Shadow will remain Shadow. Tails is married but has no children yet. Cream his beautiful bride is pregnant with there child. No gender yet. Hope you enjoy this story and if you have any ideas for some of the chapters let me know! (It's be pretty boring if I ended it here, I have no other ideas except them reuniting, so please do tell) T.T.F.N ta ta for now! ;)
