A/N

This is just a short story that I had to write for school.

Hope you like it.

......................................................................................

The night sky was full of stars, but there was no moon as I stared up at the sky from my seat at the park. I often came here when somebody was in trouble at the orphanage. Yelling and screaming are the only things that I couldn't stand. I was only 2 when I was dropped off at the orphanage I am currently living in. I shivered as a cold breeze tickled the bare skin on my face as I look at my watch. 10.00.

Lazily I got up and started to stroll in the direction of the orphanage when a rough, cold hand wrapped around my mouth and nose. Screaming with a hand on my mouth was useless, it came out quiet and muffled. As I was lifted of the ground and carried fireman style I kicked and punched whatever I could reach; all I could see was the ground passing beneath me and my kidnapper's rear end.

Suddenly I was harshly flung into a van I tried to crawl out of the cold, dark vehicle, but all my struggles and fighting was unsuccessful and a blindfold was tied tightly around my eyes. I heard the door slam close and shake the vehicle like a giant had picked it up turned it upside down. Another door opened and then closed again, I guess my kidnapper was now in the vehicle. The van moved and I tried to count the turns to work out where we were going, but I was soon disorientated and had no idea where I was. I started to panic, I didn't know what was happening, I didn't know where I was going.

After what seemed like hours before we finally came to a halt, but after looking at my watch I saw that it had only been an hour since I was at the park. The door was pried open and a freezing gust of wind swept through the back of the van. It lowered from the weight of somebody getting into the back of the van to get me out. The hands that picked me up were not rough like my kidnappers, but they were soft and gentle. They took me out of the van and lead to a house where they took my blindfold off. I blinked trying to get my eyes to adjust to the light inside of the room.

It looked like a lounge area, there was a large fire place with a burning fire ablaze inside it. Couches and chairs around a t.v. and coffee table. I looked around before turning back to my kidnappers. They looked so familiar, but I couldn't work out where I knew them from.

The male was tall, around 6.5", with curly dark brown hair, his eyes were so different. They weren't blue, but they weren't green, they were a mix of the two. It looked amazing.

The female was not much shorter than the male, around 6.2". Her eyes were a deep chocolate brown that looked the same as mine. Her scarlet red hair was tied up in a high ponytail. I looked back and worth at the two of them before I spoke, "Why did you kidnap me and then bring me to this nice house?"

They looked at each other before the female spoke, "We had to bring you home" Her voice was silky and smooth, so calm.

"Bring me home?" I was starting to get really confused.

It was the male that spoke this time, "Yes, bring you home. We will explain everything tomorrow morning. You look like you need some rest." I could feel all of my emotions bubbling up inside me, begging to be released. I wanted to yell, I wanted to scream. The anger nagging at me to let it out, the sadness pushing its way through the layers of walls I had built around myself. I had just been kidnapped taken from the only place where there were people that cared about me! My friends, my school teachers. I felt the tear slide down my face. I couldn't stop them no matter how hard I tried.

The female came closer and put her hand on my back pushing me slightly, "I'll take you to your room." I moved so that her hand was no longer touching me. I didn't want her filthy hands any where near me. She was being so nice, but she had kidnapped me. I wanted to know what was going on, but I was too tired to bother asking. The room was amazing, but I was too tired and full of emotions to care. I laid down in the king bed that was in the centre of the room before kicking my shoes off. I felt so at home. The female pulled the blankets over me and whispered good night. I lay in bed and cried myself to sleep, missing my friends and wishing I could be home.

I woke up in the morning to see the sun shining through the curtains. When I got up and walked around the house I found the male and female that had kidnapped me. I slowly tried to back away, but they turned around and saw me. They motioned me to come forward so I quietly walked forward. There were three pieces of paper sitting on the table.

The female spoke first, "Harmony," She knew my name how the hell did she know my name! Did she stalk me? Have they been watching me all my life? As I opened my mouth to argue and scream at them the female spoke, "I know you are trying to work out why we took you. We are your biological parents."

I couldn't believe they had found my me I was so happy, but wait how do I know they really are? How do I know they aren't just some randoms trying to kill me? I found my voice "I don't believe you." The woman turned over on of the pieces of paper and I looked down at it. It was my birth certificate.

Name: Harmony Grace Cameron

Mother: Ivy Rose Cameron

Father: Luke Jason Cameron

Birth Date: 27th November, 1997

Birth Time: 16.03

Weight: 7 pounds

It even had a watermark thingy in the background. "What are the other pieces of papers?" I was starting to get curious. The male flipped them over and I saw that they were my parents birth certificates. "These are our birth certificates." The female was grinning. "I think I need some fresh air." I said, "Can you show me how to get outside please?" The male lead me out to what I thought was the front porch. I sat down on a swing and thought. Did they steal my parents birth certificates? Were they my parents?

I woke up to the sound of arguing, I don't even remember sleeping. "I TOLD YOU SHE WOULDN'T BELIEVE US. WE SHOULDN'T HAVE KIDNAPPED HER!"

"THERE WAS NO OTHER WAY, WE COULDN'T EXACLTY GO TO THE ORPHANGE AND ASK TO HAVE HER BACK!"

"WE COULD HAVE TRIED!"

"AAAAAAGH! WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME? SHE IS NEVER GOING TO ACCEPT US!"

"SHE MIGHT WE JUST HAVE TO GIVE IT TIME."

I walked off the porch and behind the house. The shouting was getting quieter, but I still couldn't stand listening to it. I reached a beautiful garden. There were flowers everywhere. Roses, tulips, lilies, blue bells and so many more that I didn't know the name of. I walked around the garden for ten minutes inhaling the goregous smell of the flowers mixed together. It was relaxing and calming me, I found a bench and sat down on it. I could only just see the house and I couldn't hear any yelling. The house was a cream colour with baby blue windows sills and doors. It was a two story house and on the second story windows there were little gardens with hanging flowers that made the house look friendly and inviting. How could this be the house of two kidnappers.

I heard footsteps coming from behind me and I quickly got up and turned around, I only saw my 'mum' and 'dad'. They walked up to me and sat on the bench leaving a space in the middle. They gestured for me to sit in the middle so I sat down.

"We know that you don't believe us. If you want to go back to the orphanage we will take you there." My 'mum' was close to tears as my 'dad' spoke.

"I don't want to go back to the orphanage, I do believe you. You had the birth certificates. I would like to know why you kidnapped me though?" My voice was shaking, but I was trying to keep it calm and steady.

"We had to kidnap you because we wouldn't be allowed in the orphanage." My Mum had tears falling down her cheeks as my Dad spoke. I wanted to know more, but I felt like it would make her more upset so it could wait for another day. Instead I gave her a hug. She tensed for a second, but soon relaxed as I felt another pair of arms wrapping around the both of us. I can't believe I have finally found my family.
