Dear Robo-D,It just got real in here. Real intense. We're all standing in the auditorium, shocked at Banana's confession. She's helping Loudmou--I mean Lester?!?!
Marmie yelled, "What?!? Banana, you can't help this guy, he threatened Lace!" as disbelief cascaded across her face.
A weird rumbling sound started to echo in the auditorium.
"Nobody cares about stupid Freak Week anyway!" Harry yelled at Banana. It suddenly started to rain and clouds appeared everywhere.
Everyone ducked, trying to find cover, but the mysterious rain seemed to pour from everywhere. Crush held his jacket over our heads and shouted, "Lester, this has got to stop! Candy, rain, no gravity? Not only is it weird on the emotional side, but it's starting to get bad for our health."
Suddenly Marmie's 'Boiyzz en duh Woodzz' ringtone goes off and she starts rapping along like she always does.
The rain stops.
Everyone froze and Marmie asked, "What just happened? Did Freak Week bow to my amazing powers of rap? Because I like that development."
"I doubt it's just your amazing rap skills Marmie," Banana replied, "But it is probably the rap. Music is a perfect set up for feels. Music speaks with no words, allowing us to communicate more and more deeply seat—"
"But why rap?" I interrupted, feeling that Banana was starting to get into the long, boring speech groove.
"Rap's all about expressing your honest feelings in a form that only those who are truly listening can hear," Harry said earnestly, then flushed when we all stared at him. Marmie looked at him appraisingly, like she was suddenly seeing him in a new light.
Lester broke the silence. "So I guess we're doing this then."
"Doing what?" I asked, confused.
"A rap battle of honesty. Let's work this out old man." Crush removed his smexy Hawaiian shirt to reveal a Bubbles the Teenage Distorted Samurai Unicorn t-shirt underneath. Surprising, but not unwanted... He rolled up the button down and tied it around his head like a bandana. The clouds started to pulse and a faint hip hop beat filtered into the auditorium. Lester and Crush faced off.
[CRUSH]
Lester what are you doing? No one needs this to survive
We're trying to heal the planet one satellite at a time.
[LESTER]
Oh please, your silly science is boring, dumb, and trouble
But when I play with Freak Week, you know the fun is double
[LACE]
We've got to make this stop because it ruins people's lives
Crush, my love—wait what? Did I really just... [mumbles to the beat]
[BANANA]
Wait? Was that English? I guess we'll never know
Cause the Banana doesn't stop, so it's on with the show!
You guys we never talk, it's always dress to repress
But when the Freak Week rolls around, we're all made to confess
Take today for example, it plays with wet and dry
Dishonesty is a soggy mess and that just makes me cry.
With happiness. You know?
I want this to be happening
We can only become closer if we let it show.
