I walk down to the hall with my best friends, Tony and Kay-S. We talk about out future lives, future aspirations. For a primary school student, it was quite a lot to think about... Each of us will soon be assessed by our PSLE T-Scores which will determine our fate essentially... Some of us already received early offers from our desired schools like me. We were all so excited about what lies ahead, yet we dread the moment we split apart. We have been told the horrors of secondary school life and thus we have grown to treasure every moment in this school, neither of us wanted to leave this school where we spent all the time together bonding. None of us would trade away this precious time in primary school.

We were going to have our farewell party performance. It marks the separation of us... The separation of what I would always deem as the best 2 years I ever had in primary school. Time seriously flies, it seemed like the previous minute that I was informed that I will be promoted to class 5/7... It was such a big thing since it was supposedly the "best class". I never actually really liked my previous class since the classmates were quite mean at that time... 5/7 and 6/7 was the best class for me... Everyone accepted each other's strengths and weaknesses. Everyone was embraced, no one was left alone. The loss of any member simply doesn't make the class "the class". Our teachers were awesome too, every single one of them were people who genuinely cared about you, never discriminating anyone, always full of positive comments to spur an individual on. Everyone was jealous of our class. So this performance had to be good. It will be the last time we had time to bond with other, to bond, to feel the warmth that this class emits, the last time this family goes by its surname...

We gather at the backstage. Chatting with each other, so excited and so nervous about the performance. We reviewed each other's dance moves to ensure that they were all correct and synchronised with the class... We wanted to reap the fruits from all the effort we put into this performance. Our class was the only class to let everyone on stage while other classes only had a selected few. We wanted to show our inseparable bond...

"Next up, 6/7 will be up performing their dance with the song 'My songs know what you did in the dark'! So lets put our hands together to welcome them!"

The moment has come...

We walked onto the stage...

The music starts...

We began dancing, every move synchronising with each other, perfectly matching the tone of the song. The dance moves were all engraved into our systems...

Gonna need a spark to ignite...

Somewhere another pretty vein just dies. I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see that you're the antidote to everything except for me...

The song reaches the very climax and the rest of the level rises to dance to the beat with us. It was completely spontaneous. we were extremely glad that people appreciated the performance that we put up for them. A few of them even got up onto the stage to join us.

Wow it was such a magical moment. A moment I will never ever forget...

I see everyone sparkling, this moment so magical so wonderful.

This is my sanction, maybe my only sanction.
