31: Maybe a Kiss?

I snort at the comment he made. "A few years? The only reason I forgave you is..." I felt a rush of drowsiness again. My grip loosened on Adrian's shirt.
"Marinette!" Adrian yelped and grabbed hold of the yo-yo string.
"Hmm?" I mumbled. I opened my eyes and yelled out a long line of jibberish. "A-Adrian! I am so sorry!"
"Don't worry, I'm hanging quite fine up here enjoying the view." He smirked and stared into my eyes. "Maybe a kiss will get your senses back up and running?"
"Kitty, we are currently hanging off my magical yo-yo after you falling from the Eiffel Tower, now is not the time to flirt and your best friend is currently wondering what we're talking about."
Adrian looked down and bit his lip. "Not the way I wanted him to find out, but now is a good time for answers."
"Okay, let's get down before I go into the black abyss of unconsciousness from the blood rush," Just as I finished a wave of dizziness came over me.
"Mari!" Adrian slid down a little.
"Sorry," I said sheepishly.
We dropped instantly and Adrian yelped. We stopped a few metres above ground. I lowered down more and we were two metres above their ground when a wave of dizziness came over me. Got to get to the ground...
32: Short Story Long

Ladybug's yo-yo instantly realised and I dropped to the ground I landed in a middle ground in between crouching and standing straight. Ladybug fell, loosing transformation mid air. I caught her and indicated with my head for Alya and Nino to follow.
I walked towards an empty side road, which was no more than a double wide foot path. "Nino, I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, Alya, delete the video, one it basically kills the Chat ego and two it kills the Adrian ego as well."
"Already done," Alya looked at Marinette. "Will she be okay?"
"Yeah, it's just the blood rush she'll be okay, until I bring up what caused me being tied to the Eiffel Tower," I grinned.
Alya snickered. "So what did happen?"
"I made her pun," I grinned.
"What?"
"I made her pun. I'm so proud of my purrincess," My grin grew wider.
"That's it?"
"Oh Alya, you don't know half of the story, Marinette has told you only her half of the set of patrol nights."
"Look forward to that," Alya smiled.
Nino watched the whole exchange.
Emotionless.
"Nino, I'll explain-"
"Dude, you're Chat Noir?"
"Yeah,"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Long story short, a rule." I set Marinette down on the ground. My arms ached.
"What rule?"
"A rule that no one should know who we are, 'not even each other,'" I quoted Ladybug.
"That was the rule? Who broke it?"
"It wasn't broken we found out by choice, well, I found out by choice. Marinette on the other hand found out because I was careless when I heard a cry for help and I also had to get away from Alya talking about the sudden impulse of me kissing Ladybug,"
"That's why you walked out," Nino smiled. "Because you couldn't handle the choices of the night before?"
"Uhh...I s'pose you could say that..." I felt heat rise into my cheeks.
