icestorms story (chapters 1-8)

the wind was blowing hard against the trees. the apprentices were walking around camp making sure nothing blow over. warriors were complaining in camp of the weather. every one could smell a storm on the way.

sparkfur yowled to shadowpelt. get out of the way! a tree was cracking and fell write we're the apprentice was. luckily shadowpelt was quicker. you were lucky to survive she complained. he gave her a warning glance. still half frightened to death.

cougarstar stepped out of her den what's going on? what's with all the yelling? sparkfur explained what happened. these are troubling times for claw clan. sparkfur meowed in agree meant.

all of a sudden it was quiet the sound of wind seemed to vanish. it seemed like you were just becoming deft.

all of a sudden a huge badger came roaring into the camp. kits yelped and ran to their mother. the warrior and apprentices lined up. and the elders raced to the high cliff. warriors eyes were glazed with fright and blood shed. cold stares were flashing from the warriors.

all of a sudden in a heart beet the badger leaped out claws wide and teeth full of blood stains. and clawed at snowstorm. she leaped aside and clawed it's snout. it yelped in pain. it throw a blow at grayfur. but missed by far. cougarstar killed it. and it died in a suffering way. they watched with glory filling their eyes.

CHAPTER 1

icekit tackled dunekit. haha I got you. icekit squealed. dunekit meowed not fare! I did not expect that. icekit purrs I know I sneak attacked you. cougarstar meows calmly. don't play so hard icekit. icekit meowed. Ok mom. icekit ran over and jumped on cougarstar. cougarstar padded her and meowed. remember tomorrow is your big day. I would get some rest. it's already twilight.

icekit yawned ok mom. dunekit meowed. ok. they stalked inside and jumped on a wad of moss.

Hay I got it first meowed icekit. no you did not dunekit squealed playfully. they layed down together in bed and went to sleep. icekit dreamed she was chasing a vole through a marshy forest. the wet ground felt good on her sore paws. she skidded around and the vole ran into a whole. she looked inside. all of a sudden a badger leaps out of the whole and goes right through her. but what she sees is dunekit standing we're it's heading. dunekit run but she does not hear. in one move the badger kills her. icekit watches her spirit rise to join starclan.

icekit woke up startled. dunekit was meowing hurry up! cougarstar is abought to call the meeting!icekit woke up meowing it's dawn already? just hurry up! dunekit hisses.Ok ok I'm coming. icekit padded out side the nursery. cougarstar meowed are you ready my kits? They meowed yes we are cougarstar. cougarstar jumped up on the high cliff. she meowed. all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather bellow the high cliff for a clan meeting. her voice echoed around the hills.

dunekit you will be dunepaw. leafstorm the med. cat will train you. dunepaws eyes lit up. icekit you will have shadowpelt as your mentor. touches noses with shadowpelt. you are all dismissed. cougarstar walked over to me an dunepaw. nods you two will be a grate part of are clan. I can tell. her eyes lit up. she walked over to join leafstorm and fluffykit.icepaw looked around. shadowpelt can we go and train or hunt? shadowpelt meowed sure follow me. they padded out of the camp. shadowpelt meowed There is are first stop. this is the deer grass. it's we're we see lots of deer and animals come down because the river is close to here. it's a grate spot to hunt.over here is the river we call it bubbling river. he padded off and icepaw charged after him. he meowed. over here is the more land we hunt rabbits and mice out in these fields. over there is wolf territory. NEVER and I mean never go in wolf territory with out a patrol. the pack will rip you to shreds. icepaw meowed I promise I won't. good shadowpelt meowed sternly. all so last stop this is island rock it goes high up with trees it's a good place to hunt for voles it not vary useful though.
