Illegal Moves

Chapter 1

          This up top is Iona. She's BEAUTIFUL!!!!! She's 18. She is a senior in high school. Okay anyway this is my first story on wattpad and I have written stories before so it will be pretty good. The first few chapters won't be that good because it's just going to be a bunch of describing her life so just hang in there with me just give this book a chance. Oh and this first chapter is kind of a bore but I swear just keep reading because chapter 2 is when really the story starts so just get through this chapter and then enjoy:)

          "No, I can't come to the horse show this weekend. I still have a lot of training to do with my horse and I have the other horses to work with." I say into my phone to my best friend Lexis. She and I both show on the A circuit for showjumping. Showjumping is where you jump your horse over obstacles and whoever has the fasted time is the winner. I live on a 700 acre horse and cattle ranch. I am an only child. You all are probably thinking that I'm spoiled rotten but I'm not. I still have to do chores just like any other child who probably has siblings. I have to clean out horse stalls and feed the horses and other chores with horses. Heck, my parents hardly even notice me but they make up for it with my IPhone 6, expensive jumping horse, I get to do almost whatever I want, when I want, and  I have my own credit card. My mom works with horses that are abused and damaged as well as ones that are having behavioral issues. I help her out a lot. She says that I'm so good that whenever I get older I will probably inherit the ranch. Nothing like living in the country your whole life. I hate the city. Never would I ever in a million years live in the city. Never. Notta. Negatory. I visited the city once and that was enough to last me a lifetime. I almost got stuck on the subway. How was I supposed to know that you have to get off in the next minute or the subway doors close and it takes off. I ride horses not subways. It's not like I ride a subway for a living.                                                                                                                        

 "You never come anymore," Lexis says. I can tell she's frowning on the other side of the phone.  

          "I know, but I just don't have time and I have to pick my mom and dad up from the airport later today so I can't practice." I try to explain to her. 

          "Fine, whatever. I just want to spend some time with you before summer break comes." 

"Why? We will have all summer to hang out," I reply.

"Um no we don't," she says angrly

"What the hell are you talking about?" what was she talking about.

"They haven't told you?" she asks through the phone.

A/N 

Okay I know that was a very short first chapter but I promise that the rest will be longer, much longer but I just wanted to leave the first chapter at a cliff hanger ;) First couple chapters aren't going to be so good because I am trying to cram in her personality and her past and just explaining everything about her before stuff actually starts to happen so bare with me.
