I woke up to a gun shot. It was to dark to see anything. It was probably two to three in the morning.
"Hey Brent." No answer.
"Brent." Again, no answer. I placed my hand where he was sleeping. No one. I searched for my bag. I opened the big pocket. I dug through my clothes. I finally found my flashlight. I pulled it out. I turned it on. No one was in the tent what so ever. I unzipped my sleeping bag. I got out of the tent and slipped on my black vans outside. I looked around.
"Hello?" No response.
"Grace? Leo? Jace? Dally? Alex? Mom? Alana? Angie? Anyone?" No one was up.
"Brent..." I went to Grace's and Leo's tent. I unzipped it. Their sleeping bags were both on different sides of the tent. I sighed. I went in it. I stared to shake Leo.
"Hey, Leo, get up." He grunted. I could help but snort. He yawned.
"What?"
"Did you here that?"
"Here what? Wait, why are you here?"
"The gun shot, I woke up to it. How did you not here it?" He shrugged and fell back down.
"T.J? Why are you here?" I looked over. Grace was sitting up, yawning.
"You didn't hear it either, did you?"
"Here what?" I sighed.
"You guys are even more perfect then I expected. Her eyes were wide open.
"W-w-Wh-h-a-t?" I knew almost every way to embarrass her. I looked over down to Leo. He had this big smile on his face. I smiled. It was cute. They both liked each other, but I never understood why they never went out.

Once Leo was hanging out with his cousin who is only a year younger than him, and a girl. She lived up in New York and hardly ever came to visit, usually every two years. They went to the mall to hang out, and not even joking, they looked like a couple. They went out to get ice cream, they got pretzels, they went to Starbucks, they ran from secretary guards, they fucked around in Victoria Secret, they tried on fancy outfits. They did things that couples would do. That day, Grace, Angie,Hayden, and Hayden's friend Josh went to the mall. Josh had a MAJOR crush on Grace. He'd ask her out at least once a week. Every time she denied him. But he never gave up. They were walking down to get ice cream, when Grace saw them. Leo's cousin was dragging him to Starbucks again. He was smiling. Her smile disappeared. She looked heart broken. She started to tear up.
"Hey Josh..." He jumped up straight.
"Y-yes?!" He always got a bit embarrassed whenever she asked him something.
"I've changed my mind. I'll go out with you." Angie's eyes opened wide.
"What? Grace your kidding right?"
"No, I'm not." Angie grabbed her shoulder.
"Grace!" She slapped her hand. Hayden was surprised. Grace turned around. Her eyes were teared up.
"Grace..." Angie said quietly. She went for his hand. She grabbed it. She put her head on his shoulder.
"I love you, Josh." She said it loud enough for Leo to hear. He looked over. He stopped moving. His cousin looked over at what he was looking at. Grace. Angie tried to tell her that it was his cousin but she didn't believe him. The next Monday Leo went up to Grace.
"Hey..." He said a bit nervous.
"Hi." She said with a bitchy attitude, but you souls tell she was still hurt.
"So I heard that you're dating Josh Kiethem..."
"Yeah."
"Why aren't you with him?"
"Why aren't you with your girlfriend from the mall." Her voice 'bout broke.
"What girlfriend? You mean Brooke? That's my cousin from New York I told you about." Her eyes widened. The next day, she broke up with Josh. At lunch we brought it up.
"Why did you brake up with Josh?" Hayden asked.
"Why did you date him in the first place." Alana asked. Hayden glared at her. Alana and Hayden never got along. If Angie was never dating Hayden, Alana would have killed him.
"Oh well you see, I was having a bad day and needed someone to talk to..."
"So you went out with him?" Angie was kind of pissed that she just jumped to conclusions. They do look like a couple but it was obvious they were related and that Leo liked her.
"It was an accident, can we just, not talk about it." After that, we acted like it never happened.

I got up.
"I'll leave you two love birds alone." I winked at them. They were both bright red. I walked outside and went to Angie and Alana's tent. Both of them heard the gun shot. I went into there tent and sat next to Angie. She laid her her head on my shoulder. There sleeping bags where connected. Alana probably used the excuse that it was for 'warmth'. Angie's to much of an airhead to know that's not the case. No one knew if Alana liked Angie or not. She was like this with all girls. So it was hard to tell if she liked someone or not.
"So who do you think did." Alana asked us. I shrugged. Angie didn't answer.
"Angie."
"Huh? Oh sorry I kind of wanted to be in a tent with Hayden." We both looked discussed.
"Let me guess Alana, straights."
"Oh it's way more." Alana mumbled. All of the sudden it went off again. We jumped. Angie held onto my arm.
"Wanna go check it out?" Alana was always the kind of person that was adventurous and curious. I nodded. We looked at Angie.
"Y-yeah I'll go." She didn't want to. I could tell.
"If you don't want to, you don't have to. It's up to you beautiful." She thought for a moment.
"I'll go." She got up. We left the tent. We only had my flashlight so they both were right next to me. I could feel there breath on my neck. When we were walking we heard a branch snap from behind us. We immediately turned and flashed the light at it. It was Leo and Grace. She was holding on to Leo's arm tightly.
"Oh it's just a couple." They both looked at me with this 'T.J what the fuck' look.
"What are you doing anyway?" Angie asked them.
"We might tell you if you guys get that damn light out of our faces."
"Oh sorry Leo." Angie smiled. We faced the light to the ground.
"We're out hear 'cause of the gun shot."
"So you guys heard this one?"
"Yep! And now we're investigating the crime scene!" Grace was crazy at night. She was extremely hyper. Leo smiled. 'Just kiss already' I thought.
"Let's go together then." Angie suggested. Typical Angie, ruining the moments of Grace and Leo. Typical. They agreed. We walked around the camp sight and saw nothing. The truck was gone. But a random navy blue with black flames was parked next to where moms truck was. We heard something. It was a groan. Not one a dead one would make. One that a living human being would. It came from the other side of the truck. We walked to it to see Brent's stomach covered in blood, leaning against the truck. This girl with short black hair with a beanie on was helping him. She had a 'My Chemical Romance: Welcome to the Black Parade' shirt on and ripped up skinny jeans. She turned to us. She had bright blue eyes.
"He needs medical attention right now, or else he'll die.
