One's Pride, One's Anger

Luna's PoV

I clashed with snow serpent after snow serpent. For some reason, no matter how fast I moved, I just couldn't get close to her. And not having full control of my mask or my semblance just made things worse. I tried to make some crystals only to have them blow up in my face. But I would take out chunks of the serpents. "Damn it! Your really pissing me off!" I, without thinking about it, head butt one of serpents. Surprisingly enough she was in that serpent. We'll talk about irony. That was enough to stun her long enough for me to grab her mask and try to rip it off. The mask came off but what was under scared me. "W-whoa... Um..." I was completely lost for words.

She yells and covers her head. "This is what happens when you live with the mask on for to long. You become a faceless...thing! GIVE ME MY MASK BACK!" She lunged at me but was a lot slower. I catch her and toss her down. I jump down next to her, crawling away terrified. I remove my mask calmly. "What's your name?" She 'faced' me, still backing up. "Fool. Why would I tell you that? You never knew me. Besides you'll be dead soon anyway... Along with your precious huntsmen, and the huntresses...well your dad is very lew..." With out warning her I kick her hard in the stomach. "Luna?" Ruby was standing at the door way. "What?" "RUBY!! Are you ok?" Yang ran up to Ruby and hugged her tight. "Yea yea...I'm fine Yang... Apparently Weiss has a mask now to." That caused me to shiver and pressed my foot harder against the reaper. "You bastard! Are you trying to crush me?! Get off!" I smile a soft warm smile and put my blade into clever form. "No hard feelings...but I can't have you roaming around my..." I let the statement fall. I heard the footsteps of everyone else.

Glynda, Ozpin, JNPR, and my team came up. Blake walked behind Yang and stared at me. "Are you sure you want to kill me? Don't you want info out of me? Of course we could always..." I stab my blade into her chest. "Sorry Snow Queen. I know the Professors train of thought... We are similar in that sense." She clawed at he blade trying to pull it out but without her mask she's was as weak as a child.

Ruby's PoV

We all stood silently watching the reaper loose her life. "L-Luna? W-why did you...?" He laughs quietly. Then shakes his head. "She's no longer human... But she's not really grim. I saw her aura. This is exactly what she wanted. To be stopped. She hated killing innocent people. And besides she was right about that message on her snakes..." He stared at his blade and waited for her to stop moving. "What message? It's impossible for us to see now..." Glynda waved a hand and we all noticed how the snow serpents were crumbling. Fast. "'Your father is pissed and won't let us control our selves... It's been this way for years. Please help us.' That was inside one of them..." He pulled his blade out of her and backed up... Her body started to dissolve. Her mask started to break in Luna's hand. He dropped the mask and sighed heavily. "What were you going to tell her. About how 'you can't have her roaming around your...?'" Nora spoke so quickly I had a little bit of trouble understanding her.

"Um... I...don't know." He's face flushed a little bit. "You were wanting today friends didn't you? For some reason you just couldn't bring yourself to say that word!" Emerald jumped up and down excited. "Your are the girly-est guy I have ever met..." Angel spoke softly and laughed. I walk over to Luna. "Um... Are you ok Luna?" He smiles nervously. "Y-yea I'm good. How are you and Weiss doing?" We all walk into the infirmary. Weiss sits up and rubs her eyes. "Please tell me that was just a dream?" Pyrrha and Mars walk over to her and start filling her in. I go and sit back down on my bed and stare at my mask. "Want to try and use it?" Luna seemed perfectly calm about this...? Everyone went dead silent. "Um excuse me? She needs to be resting! Just because you can 'kinda' control yours doesn't mean they should be learning it!" Yang flared up a little and walks towards him. He doesn't move but tilts his head. "I'm gonna start calling you puppy..." We all look at the door and see uncle Qrow smiling.
