Troye's POV
~Tiny time skip~

I stumbled into the classroom, glancing around the room and saw that, even though the bell had just rung, the room was already nearly full, meaning getting a good seat would be difficult. Luckily, after standing awkwardly to the side for a few seconds, I noticed a seat closer to the back, and sank gratefully into it. A couple of people rushed in, barely arriving in time for attendance. Barely listening, I looked down at my desk until my name was called,"Troye Sivan Mellet?", I looked up quickly,"Here." Glancing at his list of names, the teacher grinned as he said, "Troye here is new, so maybe you'd like to introduce yourself to the class."

Sadist.

I sighed quietly, standing up and walking slowly to his desk, turning to face the room. Looking around at my classmates, I noticed a lilac haired boy, (I know, I know, it's not his current hair color, just shhhh) smirking at me from the front seat, his glasses framed eyes staring into mine.

Blushing lightly, I swiftly looked away and suddenly became very interested with the floor.

He's a positive, he only wants to tease you, stop blushing you idiot!

Realising that I hadn't spoken yet, I mumbled out something like, "My name is Troye, I just moved here from Australia, I'm 18, I'm a negative, nice to meet you."

Well that was awkward.

I basically ran back to me seat, resiting the urge to place my head in my hands, ignoring my lovely new classmates as they snickered and whispered all around me.

Not listening to his chattering class, the teacher finished his attendance and abruptly called for the classes attention, but they obviously couldn't care less.

Happy that the teacher was no longer focused on me, I pulled out a piece of paper and blocked out his lecture, focusing solely on my songwriting. I had been stuck on a song I had began writing when we moved, which I started writing on the airplane.

In the crowd alone
And every second passing reminds me I'm not whole
Bright lights and city sounds are ringing like a drone
Unknown, Unknown.

I continued writing, scribbling out phrases and scribbling over them, unable to think of the next lyric. Suddenly, a loud ringing noise broke my focus, effectively bringing me back to reality. Scrambling to gather my things, I hurriedly stuffed my lyrics half way into a folder, before joining the long queue to leave this god forsaken classroom.

Once outside, I turned around to head towards my next class, English, but ended up smacking into somebody, making us both help and stumble.

Oh nonononononono

The poor boy I had stumbled into was the purple guy, the one who had been staring at me when I introduced myself. "I'm so so sorry, are you OK?!", the boy questioned as I straightened up," I'm fine, sorry for bumping into you", I said quickly. "Don't worry about it, I should be the one apologizing for not looking where I was going! I'm Tyler by the way!", he said beaming like the sun. "I'm Troye." "I've heard, but I think I might have been the only one who did", he replied, smirking at my embarrassed expression. " Look, Tyler, it's really nice to meet you, but I need to get to English so..." "No problem, I'll see you later!", Tyler said, walking away while waving.

I doubt it.

Hello! Just a few things to say really quick: italics are thoughts (Troye's obviously), and the reason Troye is acting more pessimistic than Tyler, who is way more optimistic, is because Troye is a negative and Tyler is a positive, which you probably already know. Negatives act more pessimistic, while positives are their opposites. Also, positives tend to be more popular and usually tease negatives.
I'll stop my rant.
