Hello, and welcome to Warriors: What If!

And that's pretty much all to say.

So, well, let's get it started!

*SPOILER WARNING*

What if medicine cats never existed?

The major difference would be a lot of deaths. But that's not the point. The point is that the Clans would most likely die out from sickness shortly after their first or third Leafbares.

Why? Well, I'm about to tell you!

Remember all those Greencough epidemics? Well, it's fairly clear that the only reason so many cats survived was because there were medicine cats to heal their sickness. But imagine if they weren't there.

The first Leafbare, the Clans could probably get enough warmth and food to survive, with enough cats to live on. But what about in the following Leafbare?

Basically, what I'm trying to say is that after a few seasons, the Clans would be too small to hunt enough and feed everyone. And thus, each Leafbare, there would be fewer and fewer cats. Until they were gone.

But, they could take in loners or rouges in the seasons between each Leafbare to survive. But then, still, they would eventually be unable to survive with so many sick Clanmates.

So, if medicine cats never existed, the Clans would die from starvation and sickness.
