As I watched the tree's fly by, I couldn't help but think, what if Jenny and Casey don't remember me. So I asked my dad.
" Dad?"
" Yes, Maddie."
" Do you think they will remember me?" I asked as I reached for my duffle bag from the backseat.
" I'm sure they will." He answered
honestly.
" AHA!!" I cry with victory when I find my Sour Patch Kids.
" You want a few?" I asked holding the box toward him. I watched as he reached in and took more than I liked.
" Hey!" I yelled. " I said a few!" I scolded him. He just shook his head and chuckled as I pouted.
" You'll be fine. Besides we are almost there." He said still laughing at my pout. My head perked up from hearing that.
" Really?" I asked while looking out the window.
" Sure." He replied. Maybe I should start from the beginning.
Hey yo! My name is Maddison Braylee Winters, but people call me Maddie. I'm 17 years old and currently on my way to my Aunt Jenny's house. Don't let the title aunt fool you. She's as much of a kid as I am! Considering she's 18. As for Casey, well she's Jenny's best friend, whose 17 also. I'm going to be spending a week with Jenny, Casey, and Casey's older brother. I think his name is Cameron, but I'm not entirely sure. But I do know he 18. Fun! Did you catch the sarcasm. Anyway, I haven't seen Jenny in 3 years. So I'm nervous.
" We are here." My dad said pulling me out of my thoughts. I look up at the apartment buildings that we were parked in front of. As I'm looking, I see Jenny and Casey running towards the truck I was currently sitting in. I looked passed them to see guy watching us. He was in the shadows so I couldn't really see his face. I look at my dad. He looks back at me with a raised eyebrow. I roll my eyes and sigh. Well here goes nothing I thought as I popped open the truck door, climbing literally, out of the truck while gripping my duffle bag.
" MADDIE!!!" Jenny and Casey yell at the same time.

Uh... Hi... Sorry I'm an awkward person when it comes to stuff like this... So this is my very first story... Like I've never wrote a story before.... So I'm sorry if it sucks... All the chapters are going to be short like this... Like I said its my first time writing... I hope it's good
