.....Suzanne POV (Emma's mom)........

I slowly went downstairs due to a loud crack I heard outside I then heard a gunshot which made me run downstairs faster I bolted for the dining room and saw a guy with a gun and my husband in the floor I then I just tried to stay quiet so I don't wake up my daughter then I felt a sharp pain then everything went black.

..... Emma's POV....
I heard two loud bangs then sirens I did not go down stairs for fear what was going on I then decided to go down stairs to see what was happening and then I saw two police officers and walked up to then an asked what happened. The police then took my hand small six-year old hand and led me outside all while giving me a look of pity.
