What's That?

Mr. Choco wiped the sweat off of his brow as he sped down the smoke grey, crumbling sidewalk. He turned the corner, meeting the eyes of a furious unicorn who threw an evil glare back at him. "This isn't good!" Mr. Choco muttered. He detoured into a forest and became lost in its dark green leaves and hard wooden walls. He quickly scanned the area around him. The ground was covered in a thick, amazon green layer of grass. There was a ray of sunshine blanketing the soft forest floor. A bright sparkle caught his eye. He slowly tip-toed over to the gleaming light, squinted, and peered at it. " A ring?" He questioned, "In the middle of a forest?" Mr Choco was confused. He picked up the small, golden accessory and examined it. The blood red gem in-caged in the ring was cracked and blemished. It looked... odd. Mr. Choco pushed on the gem a little bit. The ground shook, and rumbled and a large cavity started to form. Thousands of small, beady, black spiders poured out of the hole. Mr. Choco jumped back. "What's that?" he asked himself, taking a peek into the dark, mysterious hole.

Two cold, clammy hands shoved him in the the black revine. Mr. Choco screamed as his contents splashed everywhere. As he neared the ground, he braced himself and prepared his ears for the smashing of his beloved, glass body.
