Alex's P.O.V

"So theres a new guy in town!" Octavia exclaimed smiling at me. I smiled back. There was something about Octavia that made her smile contagious.
"Really shortcake? whats his name?" I said smirking. I called Octavia shortcake since she was 5"0 and i was 5"7. I didn't necessarily tower over her but it was a slight hight diffrence.
"His name is Jackson Long and everyone says he absolutely gorgeous." Octavia said very giddily.
"HEY ALEX WHATS GOOD?" a loud voice said coming from across the hall. i turned around to see another good friend of mine coming towards me. Her name was Miley ,and since what happened with Miley Cyrus at the VMS, whenever we see each other we say "Alex whats good?" or "Miley whats good". I know.. cheesy but you gotta love us. Miley caught up to us and put her elbow on Octavia {since we knew she hated that}.
"GET YOUR FILTY ELBOW OFF OF ME YOU DISABLED CAT!" Octavia yelled over everyone. As soon as she finished everyone in the hallway started laughing and yelling "You tell her Octavia". Thats what happens when we make a scene. Everyone basically knows us as the "Power Three". I know thats really cheesy but oh well we didnt pick it. I was Alex, the blonde haired "bundle of energy" as everyone would say. I didnt stand for anyones bullshit and if anyone hurt one of my friends i swear I'd deck them. Now meet Octavia ,or shortcake. Shes the most sane out of all of us. Octavia was the mom at parties and always got good grades. She defiantly wasn't a nerd but she knew when to draw the line. Octavia had long brown hair  with blue eyes and always was perfect.  And for the grand finale theres Miley. Miley was your adverage spunky girl. She was defiantly the tallest out of all of us and dyed her hair white so that "They won't tell which hairs are grey." Yup i know... totally awesome. Miley was the child at heart and if she had a chance to go back to her childhood she defiantly would. We all met in 6th grade when i was dared to shave off my eyebrow and came to school the next day with no eyebrow. Octavia and Miley {makeup gods might i add} were able to shape my eyebrows into looking like nothing happen. All this while we were supposed to be in English. Then we became best friends and nothing could stop us.
"Octavia. I. Can't" Miley said through laughs. Octavia rolled her eyes and turned to me.
"I say we scope out this man candy.." Octavia said smiling.
"I WANNA JOIN" Miley complained but we all just looked at her.
"You do realize you have a boy friend right?" i asked snapping Miley in to realization.
"Yup right totally and i wouldn't change it for the world." She said sarcasm dripping after every word. We knew Miley didnt love her boyfriend like she did SINCE 7TH GRADE. Let me clarify, we are seniors, so thats makes Miley  and Dan dating for 6 YEARS! i can barely stand a week with a boyfriend let alone 6 Years. Anyways back to what we were saying.
"Just call it quits with him. Ill do it for you." Octavia stated staying really calm about it. Miley was about to respond when the bell rang.
"See you at lunch bitches!" i said screaming. we all laughed and went our separate ways.

"Good Morning class and welcome back to art." Mrs. Perkins said. Mrs. Perkins {or Liz as she likes to be called} was my favorite teacher ever. She laughed and was just all around laid back. About 30 minuets into the lesson I had to use the restroom cause thats what girls gotta do. I got up and walked over to Liz.
"Im going to the bathroom mom. Dont wait for me." I said smirking. I called her mom since she was the closest thing i had for a mom.
"Alright dont be long." She said turning back to her canvas. I walked outta class and went to the girls bathroom. i fixed my makeup up and used the bathroom. i washed my hands and as soon as i stepped out i bumped into someone causing me to fall backwards.
"shit im so sorry let me help you up." i huskey voice said. i looked up and saw the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen. He had blonde hair with piercing blue eyes and the most amazing face ever.
"Oh it-" i started to talk until he picked me up and put me down.
"The names Jackson and im new. Mind showing me around.." he said pausing for me to answer.
"Im Alex. What classes do you have?" i said snatching the sheet from his hand.
"lets see we have 1st 3rd lunch and 5th together." i said handing him the paper back. I started walking away and he just stood there.
"Well are you coming with me to art?" i said as a continued to walk and he ran towards trying to catch up

Lunch came by really quickly after art. I met the girls outside of the cafeteria where we usually meet and walked into the cafeteria together. I refuse to eat any cafeteria food from the school so i took my place at our table and ate a lollypop. a girl started to slow down at our table and i gave her a death glare. i dont mean to sound like a bitch but i only like sitting at my tabe with MY friends. not some random person. i mean sorry i have my recommendation.
"So hunty what happened during art class??" Miley asked plopping her tray of "meat" on the table. I took the lollypop out of my mouth so i could speak.
"nothing why?" i said looking at her. Before Miley could respond Octavia plopped down her tray of mushy salad and said "Cause you're all over the school 'Alex has mystery encounter with hot and dreamy Jackson Long'. Its everywhere."
"You should really fix your hair stupid bitch." Maci said laughing and sitting next to me. You see Maci and i have been friends since preschool ever since i dumped sand on her head cause i didn't like the bun she was wearing. we became best friends since but we recently stopped talking since shes captin of the cheerleading team. No shes not a spoiled bitch who walks all over everyone because they looked at her wrong. She's very nice and drop dead gorgeous. Thats why i dont wanna bother with Jackson. Because Maci will probably get him.
"Shut up Maci not now Octavia was telling us the rumors that were going around about-" I said being cut off by a deep voice.
"Me? Yup heard them too" Everyone turned around and saw Jackson looking at us. Octavia had her mouth dropped open, Maci was drooling, Miley looked disgusted as to why he was eavesdropping, and i.. well i just smiled.
"Wanna sit with us?" i said looking to the girls for approval. They all shook their head vigorously. Jackson sat down next to me, staring at me the whole time.
"Well that was interesting." Maci said staring at Jackson.
"Yup. Good thing i ran into this girl." he said putting his hand on my knee. "Or i wouldve been sitting alone. " He looked at me and smirked. Any other girl would melt but i... i did melt yup. Lunch was over very soon after that and all my classes were a breeze. I walked out to the parking lot and went over to my porsche.  Did i mention my family is rich? Yup we basically own the school. My mom is a doctor so shes never around. In fact i only see her on Christmas. My dads a deadbeat. Took one glance at me while i was in the hospital and left. He calls me once and a while, it was usually when he was drunk. Anyways he gives us money every year. Its usually 20,000, So thats good. So Yup back to school. I hopped in my porsche and was about to drive off when i heard a knock. I looked over and i saw Jackson. He looked like a celebrity trying not to get mobbed by papperazi.
"Hey.. mind if i hop in?" he asked still looking around. I leaned over and released the car door and he hopped in.
"Sorry but theres a bunch of girl waiting for me. I dunno why but i think theyre gonna launch themselves at me." He rambled and i just laughed backing out of the school lot.
"Are you laughing at me sunshine?" He asked looking at me angirly.
"Yes darkness i am" I said sarcasticly. "Oh and btw youre coming to my house." I said turning into a gated comunity. All the houses here were giant 3 Story houses. I lived in the back, probably one of the biggest houses. It was a cream color with wooden floors and a dark brown roof. We had a garden in front with a bunch of flowers the gardener took care of.
"Wow sunshine, this is all yours?" He asked unbuckling the seatbelt.
"Yup, Here you can explore. Ill be up in a minute." I said chucking him the keys. I stayed in my car for a couple of minuets. Realizing what i just did.
