"How was it?" Ella startled me as I walked in the door.

"It was really nice, I'm surprised you're here," I said to her.

"I had some shit to do," she explained.

"Look at you being studious," I teased her.

"I googled Liam," she blurted out.

"You what?" I almost laughed.

"He has a record," she shook her finger in my face.

I pulled the laptop out of her hands and set it down on my bed.

"Simple assault, public intoxication, and theft at the age of 13," I read aloud.

She looked down.

"Man, I'm dealing with a hard criminal here," I teased her even more.

"Petty crimes or not, they're still crimes," she stuck her nose up.

"Ella, you've done all of these things ten times over," I pointed out.

"Okay, whatever," she surrendered.

"Why are you like so against him?" I wondered out loud.

"I'm not, my guard is just up from what I heard," she explained herself.

I excused myself to the bathroom to get ready for bed. I put a warm smelling lotion all over my body and crawled into bed.

"Oh, I was hoping we'd go out," Ella joked.

"Goodnight," I flipped her off.

I woke up bright and early to get ready for class. Monday's were the absolute worse. Not just because Monday's already sucked I had a weird schedule and always had the Monday Blues.

"I'll meet you in the cafe for lunch if your class doesn't get out late," Ella said to me as we walked towards the bus.

"Yeah, Jon is probably going to come too because he dropped his 2:40," I explained to her.

Jon was a good friend of mine from high school and we ended up reconnecting in college.

I waved goodbye to Ella and took a seat on the bus. I just hoped my day would go by pretty fast. I found a part of me wanting to text Liam but I definitely didn't want to seem pushy.

"Hey," I sat down in class next to Jon and pulled out my notebook.

"Where were you this weekend? I didn't see you," Jon asked,

"Last night I went on a sort of date," I told him.

"Oh..really?' He looked down.

"Yeah, it was nice," I smiled.

He started to doodle something on his paper when our professor walked in.

Once lecture started I tried to make jokes with Jon to make time go by faster but he seemed sort of down.

"You okay?" I wrote on a piece of paper and slid it onto his lap.

"Yeah, just tired," he handed it back to me and half smiled.

"Alright don't forget that paper is due tomorrow, have a good Monday," our professor ended class.

"You can come to the Caf now that you dropped your next class right?" I asked him as we exited the lecture hall.

"Yeah," he didn't sound to amused.

"Hey!" I greeted Ella and slid next to her at the table.

Once we all got our food we made small talk about our day so far.
