Part 5
I get out the plates, cups, and silverware and set the table. It's a little past 5 and my dad comes home.
"Hey dad." I greet while filling the cups with water.
"Hi sweetheart." He says while plopping down on the couch.
"How's work? You know saving people's lives and stuff." I ask.
"Well it never gets boring. That's for sure." He chuckled.
"Hi honey." Mom says walking in.
"Hey." He walks over to her a give he a peck on the lips. Cute yet gross.
After dinner is done I load the dishwasher and run it. While my parents watch tv.
"I'm gonna finish my homework." I say bolting up the stairs.
I get to my room and begin reading my English book. After I finish pages 1-50 I go onto chemistry. I don't understand any of it so I just write down things that seem smart. I do the same with geometry. After I put away all my books back into my bag I get another text.
Lupita -"Hey so I just found out that the party is in a house in the woods!!"
Alli -"That doesn't sound good."
Lupita -"Everything's gonna be fine! Live a little! Haha"
Alli -"Yeah I guess you're right. Who's house is it?"
Lupita -"Of course I'm right.(; and it's Louis's uncle's I think."
Alli -"Oh okayy lol it's kinda been a long day for me so I'm gonna sleep. Love you girl!"
Lupita -"Nighty night! Love you too!!"
It's only 8pm but I'm even more tired before my nap. I change out of my clothes, brush my teeth and head to dream land.
