Getting Her

The Escape

As I promised Meg , me and my friends ( the ones from their crew too are my friends now ) , we boys set out to search a single girl , Sean was there to protect the girls from the alligator . we looked everywhere but we couldn't find her and then we at last lost hope and decided to return to the hide out and then we suddenly heard a noise and we turned to look what was it.....OMG!!! it was the filthy titanium rot alligator....we stood still

The girls were worried when we guys didn't return to the hideout for a very long time...

Megan suddenly broke the silence with her cry

" if something happens to RV it's all because of me...I forced him to go and find Grace....I won't be able to forgive myself"

Johanna replied very concernedly -

" nothing will happen to him or any of the boys...don't worry and don't blame yourself too."

" but it was me who forced him to go - "

" stop...you didn't do anything........let's wait till morning....if they don't return we'll go in search of them...alright??? "

" yeah okay , thank you Jo "

everybody was standing still until we heard someone shout to us " RUN!!! ". it was Grace who was shouting her throat out and saying us to run so that we could escape from the animal...uh wait...sorry , it's no animal it's a creature . we started running and we could see more of them coming and it was fast approaching us. We were panting in our halfway to the hideout. John said that

" guys you go...I'll fight these creatures and will buy time for you to run to the hideout "

I immediately responded - " are you crazy?? Look at it , we are nothing in front of it we'll be killed if we go and stand in front of it...one strike of its tail and we're dead .."

" but how will we escape...we ought to find a way out "

" just keep running "

We kept on running and we reached a stream and went in it and we noticed something strange....the half alligator and half human were afraid of the water and we took this an advantage and moved to the hideout by the water movement and we at last reached the hideout in the Morning when they were just preparing to set out to search for us.

" where are you heading to??? " I asked surprisingly. Immediately after the words left my mouth, Megan turned , ran to me and hugged me tight...I could feel her curly black hairs on my face. She asked me -

" are you okay???.. Omg I was so afraid...I made mistake by sending you there to save her. I'm so sorry "

" it's okay Meg I'm alright and you don't need to apologize...I went as per my wish only..."

" thank you RV "

Jo suddenly noticed that my hand and Alex's hands were bleeding continuously and she shouted it loud that Meg heard it and came back rushing to me again. After a series of natural first - aid we sat freely and asked Grace some questions

" why did you go out without telling us , we were so afraid and we panicked a lot "

" sorry guys , I woke up to inform you and found that you guys were still sleeping.. "

" you could have called a me or Meg "

" sorry and then I went out because I was feeling lonely when I thought George was completely gone from my life...so I thought I'll take a small walk to make my mind fresh but then I was struck in a small hole in the heart of the island and was struggling to get out of it for a long time , I was tired and I slept there for sometime and then I saw you guys coming around and at the same time I saw the alligator coming towards you...so in the fit of saving you I got out the hole and started running with you.....I'm sorry guys because of me you had to go through that "

I immediately responded " okay forget it....and girls we found that the alligators are afraid of water"

" but alligators are fond of water , aren't they??"

" yeah but these are different "

" so what's the plan "

" to escape from this island and these creatures.... We've to move with the water and water may lead us to the sea and since this island is so monstrously big we ought to set out tomorrow "

" yeah okay we can do this "

They all slept....while I was crazily thinking about the way in which Meg came running and hugged me....and after sometime I also feel asleep.

Tomorrow was a big day for us...a long journey which decides whether we live or die , whether we see our friends again or not
