Something heavy brought down Alec's wrists, making him aware. Chains. Chains were around his wrists, and he opened his eyes to see a dark stone and gray hallway.

Alec was pushed forward from behind him. He couldn't see who they were, and everything on him was gone. Weapons, gear, everything.

Alec sighed, wishing this wasn't happening right now. Why now? Just then, someone pushed him roughly into a room, making him fall to the floor with a painful noise.

Someone stood in front of him, but Alec closed his eyes. It was painful enough to be kidnapped, for what? What had he done-

"A-alec?"

Alec knew that voice as much as he knows how to breath. But given the circumstances between them, why would he be here?

Alec fluttered open his eyes as fast as humanly possible, to see Magnus standing there. He was staring at Alec with surprise. There was not time to waste, through.

Magnus stepped forward, then crawled onto the floor in front of Alec, he sat and looked at Alec's blue scared and confused eyes. He put his hands on either side of Alec's face. Magnus tilted his head, and did what he'd wished he'd done.

He kissed Alec. It was soft and gentle at first, but it became deepened and passionate. Like, it was the only way to breath. That's what it felt like.

They broke away, breathing heavily. Even so, Alec looked at Magnus with his eyes, asking, wonder, wanting to know.

"Alec, I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry. If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't be here, you wouldn't have to see me anymore."

Alec made a painful noise.

"N-no. No. D-don't leave me, Magnus. P-please. I didn't want to be without you, but you made the choice for me. I can't live in suffering any more. Please."

Alec only pleaded ten billion times for Magnus when he couldn't sleep at night, and lie in his bed, staring at the plain, empty ceiling.

Magnus put on hand on Alec's cheek, rubbing it. He sighed. He couldn't run away from this.

"I know. I won't leave you again. I can't do it to you." Magnus whispered.

"Even after this is over?"

"Yes."

Alec relaxed, hope filled his dull eyes for the first time, in weeks. He smiled in love, and comfortableness.

Alec pulled Magnus to him, only hugging him, magnus' hand fell from Alec's cheek, to his sides. Alec felt Magnus pull away slightly in surprise, but relax and breath soundlessly with a regular beat of his heart.

"Alec, I love you."

Before Alec could respond to Magnus, someone came in, and let them go.

So they left. Magnus grabbed Alec's hand, like if he let go, Alec would slip away, but Alec did the same.

By the time they made it to Magnus's apartment, Alec was sleeping quietly. Magnus smiled admiringly at Alec. He carries his boyfriend inside, and onto the couch. Once he set Alec down, he pushed hair away from Alec's forehead, and leaned down, leave a soft, light kiss there, before moving to go to his room.
