Jenna's POV

'BEEP' 'BEEP' 'BEEP'

"Ugh" I moan turning towards my nightstand.

I slam the top of my alarm clock, hitting the 'off' button.

I slowly get up looking towards my window, squinting my eyes because the sun is so bright. I stand up and walk towards my large walk-in closet. I grab a blue, flowered tank top and a pair of light blue jeans, worn out on the thighs to the shins. Then, grab my black cardigan and other 'undergarments'. I rush to the bathroom and start to get ready.

I come out of the bathroom, with long, curly brown hair and smokey black eye shadow around my bright blue eyes. I have pastel pink lipstick on and foundation. I go downstairs to find a note on the fridge. Will be home later tonight. Have a meeting for work. Have a good day at school honey! Stay away from Bryson. Xoxo -mom is what the note said.

I should probably explain who Bryson is and why I should stay away from him. Well, here it is...

*FLASHBACK*

Albert's POV (Jenna's Great Great Great Great Grandfather)

I'm running. Running as fast as I can. Pushing branches out of my path to survival. I hear the footsteps right on my heels. I look to my right, at my best friends face. He looked tired, like he was going to pass out. He looks at me with desperation in his eyes. I shook my head, tears at the ridge of my eyes. He nodded his head, as I slowly passed him. I heard screams. Gun shots. Laughter.

Eventually, I reached the city again. The first place I went was tim's house. I had to break the news to his wife and parents about his death. I explained everything that happened, from getting pulled out of the bar by strangers, to entering the city once again. By the time I finished my story, his wife's eyes were angry, filling with tears. More and more after each word I say. I finished talking, let a moment of silence fill the room. She looked at me and pointed towards the door. I dropped my jaw, she thought this was my fault? She was blaming me?

I got up and walked towards her, I opened my mouth to say something. "GET OUT! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. HE NEVER WANTED TO GO TO THE BAR WITH YOU BUT YOU DRAGED HIM OUT WITH YOU! IF YOU DIDN'T DO THIS HE WOULD STILL BE HERE! Beside me, holding my. My hand." She burst into tears. I left the house. Sworn to myself i would never come in contact with their family. Ever.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Well, that's what happened. Ever since then, for 169 years. Anyone in their family tree, we were forbidden to talk to. Even come into a 10 feet radius with them. Well turns out Bryson is the newest in their family tree.

I never met him, nor seen him. I can't.

I was on my way to school, walking onto school property with my head hung down, like always. Someone hit my shoulder, pushing my books out of my hands. I look up to see the most beautiful face ever. Blonde hair hanging in the way of his Hazel eyes. He looked at me with eyes wide, as if he just saw a ghost. "Oh, sorry. Here let me help you." He said in a deep voice.

"Th-thank you." i stuttered. He was wearing Dark blue skinny jeans and no shirt. He had a six pack, nice! I heard somebody clear their throat. I looked up, seeing the mysterious boy smiling and looking at me. Crap, he noticed I was checking him out.

We exchanged numbers, because we wanted to text each other and get to know one another a little more. He told be his name was Jason and he was 17. Great! I told him I am Jenna and i'm 16. He told me he would text me later.

'BRRRRINNGGGGG'

The bell went off louder than it needed to. Great, another day of hell.

Bryson's POV

I was on my phone texting when I ran into a girl. I looked down and saw a gorgeous face looking at me. I apologized for knocking her books down and offered her help. I cleared my throat when I caught her checking me out. I know i'm attractive and all..so I don't blame her! I had to know more about her. I asked her for her number so we could text later on and learn more about one another. She told me her name was Jenna Lockings and that she was 16.

Of course. With just my luck, the ONE person i was supposed to be avoiding is the ONE person i ended up meeting. I'm always warned about her, though i don't fully understand the history between our family feud, I know i would get in big trouble if i got caught with her. She asked me my name and my age. I couldn't tell her the truth, she wouldn't give me a chance. "Jason! My name's Jason and I'm 17!" I lied.

*LATER THAT NIGHT*
