Chapter 5 The Kiss along With Jealousy(year:1780 England)

    We walked out to wind and rain and Terence's expensive carriage that was white and gold he smirked devilishly at me and said "Amber why don't you come in my carriage you don't want to get your dress dirty" "oh how generous Terence"she climbed into Terence's carriage and he shut the door and he was still devilishly grinning at me I glared at him and he giggled.He sat on the seat of the carriage and said "i'll race ya there!" and with the whip of the lead the white horses jolted forward in a run.I quickly ran and hopped onto my carriage and whipped my lead and my black and white clydesdale  horse started to swiftly run threw the wind and rain I  had squinted to see.Everything was blurry  all I saw was blurry blobs quickly passing.I saw a huge blob and I assumed it was the opera  so I pulled the lead witch made my carriage stop with a lurch whipping my eyes I saw the opera lit up from the inside and people in fancy cloths swiftly running into the opera.Looking around I saw Terence still not here I smirked but then I and realized I was soaked then I heard horse hooves thundering in it was Terence's carriage and he didn't look happy.Getting off I smirked at Terence who was also soaked from him going fast when I got off I shook and water came splashing off I still was soaked I ran into the opera.It was huge with diamond chandelier I could hear people awe in amazement on the ceiling where paintings of cupids and a beautiful sunset.Wide stairs led to the theater and people were filling in every seat the huge stage was lit with candles that were shaped like sea shells.I sat down in a booth reserved for Amber and me there where left over seats so Terence sat next to Amber.Then the candles on the wall blew out and all fell silent the bright candles lit up on the stage and Celia walked out in a white wig and pink fluffy dress.She began to sing her voice beautiful and soft the setting on the stage was a ball room full of actors and actresses dancing in  ball gowns and tuxedos .

Then a man appeared and he sang with Celia and they danced while singing the opera was about a women loved by all danced and sang her way death.Then at the end the of the scene the crowed clapped as the actors and actresses bowed people thew roses and cheered then the curtains close. Ten minutes latter Celia  came rushing down still in her costume and holding thousands of bouquets of colorful flowers then her eyes widened and her eyes brightened so bright it seemed to light the room.But her happiness wasn't for me or because of me she was smiling ear to ear and she ran to Terence and hugged with all her might he hugged back smiling and laughing.My heart ached for that hug or smile or even her brightly lit eyes I knew I should rejoice for Terence but my heart ached and I couldn't Terence looked up at me and he seemed to read my mind and my aching heart he grinned and kissed Celia on the head picked her up and twirled her in the air she laughed.Then once more the  light dimmed and she whispered "i'm not in this scene so Terence would you mind if I sat with you?" he smiled and said "I'd love it if you did" ever so politely she sat down next to Terence who was a row in front by Amber and now Celia I was in the back of them.I wasn't paying attention to the opera all I could think of was how Celia smiled and how her eyes brightened up.I couldn't recall  her doing that by the sight of me before I knew it the scene was over and Celia left for the next.I didn't even watch her go on or her performance because I couldn't get her smile and her bright eyes out of my head.With my hand I pushed my hair out of my face sitting back I took a deep breath and tried to relax.I mean what was I thinking she hadn't seen him for years of course she'd act that way but just jealousy fills my body like air when I breath.All the what if's filled my head like what if she liked him and still does?I was startled by clapping and cheering I started to clap and I stud up and cheered along with the crowed not even knowing what had happened.Then people started leaving Amber and Terence got up and walked out of the  theater and Celia came running  with three men behind her carrying  bouquets of brightly lit flowers Amber came running at the flowers in amazement.Celia was still lit with joy and Terence trying his hardest to look handsome in his damp tuxedo and me still filled with jealousy.I was ashamed of it but couldn't control it I couldn't be happy like my self and Amber my trusted friend noticed it as soon as she looked at me.We left to opera to go to Amber's new house to celebrate.When we got there I was still filled with jealousy I had never been so jealous we walked up to this quit charming cabin but rather small for Terence's liking when we entered it was sparkling from how clean and neat it was "pleas take a seat" Amber said smiling and pushing Celia to one of the sofas by the fire place I sat by her and she Glimmered dim my stomach dropped to my foot she was like an angle at its brightest with Terence...but why not with me?"Phillip do you mind if u help me carry in some macarons?" Amber said I nodded and we went to the pantry.She turned to me "soo...Phillip do you mind telling me why you're so jealous?" she said concernedly " thanks for being concerned but i'm not jealous of anything" I lied but Amber seemed to let it go and she grabbed a platter of macarons and she went back to the living room and set it on a table Celia smiled and said "oh good i'm starving!" and she grabbed ten macarons.Terence was busy trying to light the fire and failing walking over I said "need help?" "no Phillip i'm fine" he snarled I looked over his shoulder he has holding the magnesium wrong "here" I snatched the magnesium and knife and put it close to the bark and I quickly scratched the magnesium with the knife and sparks lit and I blew them until it lit into flames  I smirked at Terence he glared and sat by Celia putting his arm around her and bringing her close she didn't realize.I on the either hand was making a  huge deal about nothing I was making this a competition and Terence was gladly accepting it.He was laughing about something Amber said I sat on the carpet in front of the fire I stared at the dancing fire that was crackling "do any of you care for some exquisite wine?" Terence nodded and Amber got the wine they started to sip some wine in a fancy glass wine cup.Soon after we drove back home and Terence took Celia home.I got home and tried to get some sleep I fell asleep with a book in my hand.

  Celia's P.O.V

Leaving from Amber's Terence took me home in his beautiful carriage.I sat by him on the driver's seat "so Celia you like Phillip?" he said curious "What? oh no Phillip and I are just friends why do you ask?" I said and he smirked "well i'v seen how you look at him and how he looks at you He seems to really like you" I could tell I was blushing 'I didn't know what to say was speechless' "haha but he's not the only one" he leaned to me his lips got closer to mine.I had a erg to kiss him and I couldn't help but to.His soft lips touched mine  and we kissed for it seemed for hours till I finally pulled away 'did that kiss even mean anything to me?' I couldn't tell did I just kiss him for no reason did that kiss even mean anything to him?...
