Cethany Fanfiction: What About Us?

First day of school. {1}

Bethany's POV:

It was my first day of school. I knew only one person in my new school. His name was Connor. He had been my only and best friend since first grade. No one had ever really liked me. I was always that one kid that got picked on for being weird. I was the kid that was too ugly to be with the cool kids, but Connor didn't think so. He was my best friend and I was so glad he was always there for me. I don't know what I would do without him.

I walked around the corner to my first hour class. I looked around and didn't see Connor. 'Where could he be?' I thought. I knew we had every class together. But he just wasn't anywhere in sight. 'He must just be running a little late' I thought to myself.

The bell to begin first hour rang and Connor still hadn't shown up. I began to worry. What had happened to him?

After the bell for the ending of first hour rang, I immedietly got up and walked out the door of the classroom. I walked straight to Connor's locker. Sure enough, he was standing in front of his empty locker.

"Where were you in first hour?" I practically yelled at him.

"Jeez! Calm down!" He said. "My alarm didn't go off so I couldn't get here on time!"

"Oh." I said. "Sorry, it's just I felt so alone in class without you."

"Sorry!" Connor said quickly, "Well, we better get going to science! Were going to be late if we stand around and chit chat all day!"

Connor and I turned away from his locker and started to walk to our next class.
